Early Bird Coffee

Finally got around to trying out Early Bird and was not disappointed! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with drink selections. Love the branding and vibe of this place. Outdoor seating is so cute and nice as well. Definitely recommend!!

Finally made it out to try their coffee, the man was Super friendly and helpful with helping me pick a drink, even gave me a sample of their homemade horchata! But before doing so, he asked if I could have dairy, I thought that was super considerate! After expressing that I was pregnant and baby LOVED the horchata, he also offered decaf or reducing the caffeine. Overall, first time experience was amazing! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

I couldn't be more impressed! This used to be the Starbucks location I worked at, and they've done an exceptional job transforming this space into a quiet, comfortable, and welcoming cafe.

The owner was warm, attentive, and approachable. Coming from SB, it's not every day that the owner/manager is front and center ringing up customers. I can't wait to bring my friends and family to support this company.

San Antonio overall does not have good coffee, I’ve been to many places, and it’s gotten to the point that I only order teas now. I had given up completely but this place was recommended by a friend. 11/10 would recommend. I love the flavor, quality and unique options. You can tell they pay attention to detail preparing your drink and care about what they’re giving you. Very easy to say this is the best coffee spot in San Antonio.

Also, PLEASE make Rose a year round option!!!😍 I don’t know when I’ll get to find rose on the menu somewhere else, I’ll have to revert to making my own rose simple syrup

Liked their coffee for a while, but this morning they made me one of the best cappuccinos I have had ever.

A couple of years ago we got to go to Italy/Croatia. Every street corner has excellent cappuccinos and we became addicted. Coming back to the US meant losing that luxury in alp but the most special spots. We regularly use the app to get morning lates from Early Bird, but they were always to go, and never gave the cappuccinos a try.

This morning after the loss of a family member, I walked in for a sit down and decided to get one. The coffee was excellent and lands first, with earthy dark flavors, maybe bark/chocolate with just a hint of fruit. But the coffee lands on this pillow of thick foam of half and half. I often take a half sugar on top, but the total lack of burnt flavor and extra creme kept reminding me with every sip not to complicate it with sugar.

The staff is amazing, making me feel at home, and the whole spot has a cared for vibe. I dig the mug too!

Phenomenal espresso. This place is the real deal. They care about what they are doing and they want you to taste how good coffee can be. There are very few places that can make a beautifully sweet shot of espresso. This is one of them.

Finally got the opportunity to coffee explore some more indy owned coffee shops and one more in my area. I'm not sure what beans were used, but my espresso and cortado had low acidity and fruitful notes. The pastries were fresh and vegan choices were great. Definitely added to the list of my favorites.

Absolutely obsessed with this coffee truck!! The owners are so kind and personable. Their coffee is to die for- I recommend the horchata latte! Their horchata is homemade, and you can definitely taste the love and effort poured into it. You will be missing out by not trying Early Bird!!

The flavor is totally different from a typical caramel or vanilla flavored drink - not sickly sweet, it's just right! 🙌
