Great coffee, tasty pastries (vegan and gluten-free options often), and wonderful, non caffinated options as well. Atmosphere is cute and cozy! Perfect for an early morning wake up and relax!

From a genuine coffee lover, this place has great coffee! They were knowledgeable about the beans they were pulling, and the espresso I had was great!
Also, the owner was incredibly friendly--and very down to earth. I highly recommend making this your usual stopping point for coffee on your way to work or hang out in the morning.

My go-to order here is the lavender-honey with oat milk. You won’t find better coffee in San Antonio, or better staff. I’m not joking. The service is phenomenal, they are all so friendly and personable, and really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Their lattes have real flavor, not just overly sweet coffee that have no real taste. They source their delicious pastries from locally owned businesses.

I didn’t stop in for a month (moving/new puppy), and as soon as I walked up Daniella asked if I wanted my usual. I can not say enough great things about this place.

(Edit 09-2022) The iced horchata is still amazing, but I am dairy-free so I get an iced oat milk latte. The espresso is delicious. The service is phenomenal. I wanted to update my review because Early Bird finally has a Walk-In location, and I couldn't be more excited for the owner. I've visited three times since the opening and they have been busy each time. If there is ever a wait, it is worth it. The place is super cute. The employees are friendly. I always leave in a better mood than when I walked in.

Such a dope little spot that absolutely never disappoints! They have some fantastic flavors and recipes, great non dairy milk options, the owners are so kind and always willing to chat and/or recommend their fave. I’m really excited for their growth and look forward to more coffee!!

The icing on the scone--
I just wrote a great Facebook review about my experience. Yall were super busy this morning with a large order and several people, but we're quick, kept a great attitude and smile on your face. I loved it! You gave me recommendations as it was my first time here, and I could truly see you were passionate about your business.
What took the icing on the scone (cake), was as I sat eating my super delicious lavender scone and sipping my coffee, from the airstream you said "Gabrielle, how are you liking it?"
You not only are managing new orders but made it a point to remember my name and ensure my satisfaction, while remaining hard at work. THAT is what sets you apart from others. This coffee shop is my favorite to go to when I’m on this side of town. Coffee and baked good are always SO delicious and the customer service is outstanding. Also, the shop vibes are so cute inside. Will keep coming for the Iced Americano with Horchata 😋
