Super cute location! 😍
We went on a breezy morning and it was perfect.
The batista working was sweet and very helpful.

I had a honey chestnut latte with oat milk per the batista's recommendation and it was so tasty. 👌

Would definitely come back again.

Keep it up! :D

I’ve only been here once (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars-I don’t feel I have the experience to give it a full 5 yet). The lavender matcha was delicious. They don’t have a lot of options for food- a few more savory options would be nice instead of the 1. Otherwise, amazing staff and cute place

Really good customer service! Very cute local coffee shop. The lavender rosemary oat matcha is so good!

Cute coffee shop! Staff was friendly and helped me decide my drink. Coffee was great and the almond croissant was one of the best I've had!

Hands down the best coffee shop I've found in SA and probably south Texas in my opinion. Make really good coffee and espresso and definitely know what they are doing and are very passionate about it. From the trailer to the actual shop their was no drop in quality what so ever. You are doing yourself a disservice if you pass up this awesome coffee shop.

Early Bird is by far one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been too. Their staff is always super friendly and helpful. Their coffee is amazing and consistent in quality. Everything from their service, product and ambience is incredible !!! I definitely recommend.

The best coffee shop in town. The staff is very friendly and always trying to accommodate your preferences. Speaking with the owner he is passionate about quality coffee. They support other small businesses by allowing them to set up outside offering unique food and merchandise. You have to try the horchata.

One of my favorite shops in the city, hands down with superb friendliness and awesome coffee. Love their creative menu items and flavors, as well as the popups/seasonal items they have on a regular basis; always brings something new to the table.

Overall love everything here, and am happy that they've grown from just a mobile location to a brick and mortar :))

Delicious coffee, staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. Their housemade Horchata Milk is a total game changer! Definitely worth a visit 👍 Extremely glad this locally owned small business replaced the Starbucks that had been at this location before.

There is a reason Early Bird Coffee has a great reputation in the community! I used to be a frequent coffee drinker, but I have chilled out on the caffeine and will only have some sporadically.

I was in a particular mood for coffee and I wanted to seize the opportunity to show love and support to a locally owned small business. I turned to Yelp to search for a hidden gem and I was not lead astray!

We arrived this morning at 10:30 AM and I was surprised and delighted to see that Early Bird Coffee has taken over the old Huebner Oaks Starbucks location! You know they have to be thriving for that to happen.

At first, I was confused because there was a long line out side and there appeared to be tables setting up outside. As it turned out, there was a pop up bakery setting up shop outside and they MUST be really good because that line ended in the parking lot.

We went inside and the ambiance was what your would expect from modern day coffee shops. You have the occasional social media opportunities, the typical Ikea type aesthetic.

When we made it to the counter the business owner greeted us and could tell that it was our first time and I was a little overwhelmed because my initial latte order with vanilla syrup might have been a safe option. He asked my daughter and I how we like our coffee (sweet/not so sweet) and then he asked if we were allergic to dairy, which we both are not. He gives us a sample of this vanilla horchata and whoa. Game changer! We both changed our orders to the latte with vanilla horchata.

Skip the chains and treat yourself to something different where your business is valued and you are supporting your community directly!
