Want in here with high hopes from a recommendation from someone. I was given a breakfast menu and was seated the restaurant is very nice the decor was nice. I ordered the American breakfast and got a side of gravy for my bisket. The eggs were tasteless and the hash browns were soggy and tasted off. The bacon was microwave bacon paper thin and just disappointing. The side of gravy was horrible no flavor at all and lumpy with flour. I informed the waitress and she took the gravy off of my bill. At this point I just wanted to leave and not come back so I paid the bill and plan on never returning. The prices are on the higher end where the quality is shockingly on the low end. Seriously microwave bacon. If yoy like bland food then this is the place for you.

Very friendly staff and a great breakfast that we returned to the following morning. Try the strawberry muffin if they have it when you visit!

We love eating there! Very friendly, like family member staff! Take our grandkids and their parents there at least once every 2 months and all of us enjoy being there and visiting. Thanks for the wonderful service and food! Bruce and Rose

Great place with a small town feel. I could tell most of the customers were locals. Food took ages but turned out yummy. The waitress was super polite and sweet. Coffee was so-so.

Such a great atmosphere! Great food and friendly staff. I definitely recommend this place for anyone passing through. When you’re done eating head on over to some shopping in the town! Try the coffee with a hint of maple!

Wife and I came down from Temple/Belton area for breakfast. We were looking forward to visiting as the ratings were very high. Unfortunately our visit could be summed up as... unpleasent. Had eggs Benedict's, hollandaise was cold and was not homemade. The cold hollandaise brought the tempature of the rest of the plate down to luke warm. Waiter offered to put it in the microwave. Apple juice was served room tempature/warm. Everything else was mediocre at best. Wouldn't reccomend and no plans to return...

Expresso was spot on and good price. As for the 2 Danish, well it was dry. I asked for 2 All American plates. Sadly in a figured out misunderstanding. I received a 5 dollar 4pc side of bacon a 3 dollar xtra biscuit along with a 4 dollar side of gravy. The one plate was 2 eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and a pair of pancakes with syrup. 33 plus and a tossed in jar tip for the take out. Glad I didn't get 2 as it would have been a 50 dollar breakfast for 4 eggs a sausage patty 4 pcs of bacon 2 hashbrows a biscuit and 2 pancake. If you don't mind spending money eat here. The staff was nice and food was served in a timely fashion.

Service was not great. Long wait to order. Long wait for food. Was never checked on by the server. I'm sure they're short staffed, but let your customer know.

*edit: as I left, the lady who can use the espresso machine came in and I was given a complimentary latte. That was very nice.
Very hit-or-miss. I have visited four times, and two times out of four I have not been able to order a latte as the (only?) employee able to use the espresso machine was not in. The food is good. When the waitress who operates the espresso machine is in, it's a pleasant experience. Otherwise, a little odd.
