Exceptional quality. They say their pastries are “flaky af,” and they aren’t joking. Rowlett is lucky to have a top tier cafe/ bakery like La Casita.

The Turkish latte is to die for. Cozy spot. I forgot the Baristas name but she worked on March 20th (morning) around 9:30 AM. She was very sweet and made sure everything was perfect.

Went again on 5/19/2023, I wanted to get the Iced Turkish Latte, which is what i got before. After I paid and gave a tip, the barista started making the coffee --- the ice machine was broken. I went with the hot latte which isn't as great.

Small, clean, minimalistic, and cozy. The menu is short sweet and simple. I wanted something other than coffee and the batista made me an iced Chai tea with oatmilk and heavy cream. Delicious. I stayed and worked on my laptop for two hours. They have a few board games and t-shirts for sale as well as mugs and such.

Just got a delicious latte from this new local coffee shop. I'm excited that Rowlett has a place like this on the square. It's pretty small, but it's a nice, cozy and modern interior with a couch and a few games. The menu is simple but you can customize your drinks with different milks and syrups. Everyone was friendly and my drink came out quick! I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Had not had a chance to visit The Modern Well before this week. I've passed by and always thought how cute and charming it was. Reconnected with a friend and past team leader Ashleigh for coffee and it was adorable. Only a couple of other people there so not too crowded and had a little privacy to talk. I only had a tea but will try the Chai Latte next time. Not a big selection of pastries or anything but still nice. Go see for yourself.

Barista was really nice and cafe looked cute. Though I ordered a large iced dirty chai with oat milk and it came out to $10. A large is actually a 16oz and is basically a medium. That’s kind of crazy tbh I feel ripped off. I’ve been here before and I guess the price raised. Also I think they switched the chai concentrate cause it didn’t taste the same and was not good. Had to throw away.

Carson Prestridge

The barista named Carson is the best, most friendliest and cool barista in the state of texas, maybe even in the United States! Not to mention his latte art is beautiful!! What a guy!

Got the horchata cold brew and it tasted like straight milk and a little bit of coffee. I then asked for a chai and it came in a cup with unmixed powder in the bottom of the cup followed by poured milk. The presentation of the drink was horrible and it didn’t even taste like chai, just milk sweetened with vanilla. Worst of all, there was a HAIR in my chai. And certainly not mine as it was a blonde hair and I have bright red hair.
I asked the barista coffee related questions and they seemed uninterested or even annoyed to answer me. I am very disappointed with my experience.

A glorified coffee place;maybe the good reviews are for the ones that dine in and get better treatment.
First, your menu and the pictures in your website doesn't align;as most of the items are not in stock and the menu is limited
Overall,I got a wrong impression in person compared to reading online reviews.

This is a wonderful little coffee shop with super friend staff. They make their own syrups and are happy to customize your drink however you like.

I sat and had a wonderful conversation with Shelby and Jeff who are very knowledgeable and we're happy to answer questions. All in all, it was a wonderful time and I wish I could come here every day!
