La Casita is a lovely little coffee shop off the beaten path in Rowlett, with outrageously delicious pastries.
I ordered a cortado, 2 oz of espresso with 2 oz of steamed milk and it was possibly the best I've ever tasted.
My daughter had the latte and chocolate croissant both equally divine.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was we found their customer service to be quite arbitrary.
There were pastries on a tray that were not in the front case. We asked about several and the woman who served us gave a brief description and said we could not buy them because they weren't in the front case. We accepted the answer and sat down. Two other customers came in after us and asked about the pastries on the tray, she gave a description and she asked if they wanted them and we watched as she sold them the pastries off the tray, as well as another customer who walked in behind them. We didn't say anything about it and as we were leaving I decided to purchase a loaf of gorgeous sourdough bread and English muffins. She rang up my purchase and charged me tax on both items. I said there must be a mistake there is no tax on bread or English muffins, other prepared pastries yes, but never bread. She then told me they came from a larger bakery and that is the reason why I was taxed. I paid for my breads and left. Will I go back maybe or I might just go to what she called the big bakery-La Casita in Richardson.

Adorable spot with delicious coffee - the espresso is excellent and comes through! The staff we met were lovely. Will certainly keep coming back. It is a small but mighty coffeeshop and set up decently for remote work given the availability of tables and outlets. What a gem.

We have LOVED LaCasita pastries for years and are so happy they have opened closer to Rockwall! Such a great place to just hang out and chill. Super cool vibe. Outside seating in front and covered patio in back. My new favorite place to hang out and people watch!

Such a cute place! They make all of their flavor drinks in house, so you don’t have to worry about all the added sugars. Was super excited to hear that their pumpkin spice is made in house! That’s a rare find!! Got a pumpkin spice latte and it was soooo good 😋

Enjoyed La Casita bakery pan with coffee. We had a regular Latte and I tried the Almond Latte with oat milk. Latte was 5 stars! The bread was ok, we are going to make it a point to try out the actual bakery. The cinnamon cruffin was overloaded with cajeta but the blueberry cobbler muffin was superb. Fun small space with very friendly staff. It would have made for a better dine in experience if it was equipped with better seating for eating. There is a back patio? But weather was non permitting today.

Stopped in today for a much needed pick me up. And I love this cozy coffee shop. They are super family friendly. Staff was super nice and welcoming. This will be my new little place to grab lattes. I didn’t try and do the pastries but they all looked delicious. Glad I was able to come and support and local coffee shop.

Absolutely amazing place! It’s a great coffee shop, but I go for the food! The cubano sandwiches are to die for. I might start a cubano diet. La Casita is known for their pastries, and being able to get these all the time is brilliant. Super chill spot, hang out on the patio, have a great snack, and enjoy the day!
The picture I posted is a Churro Cruffin (basically a caramel filled croissant shaped like a muffin, holy sh#t). The pumpkin loaf is the best you’ll have anywhere, super moist. Then the homemade strawberry pop tarts are that extra sweet treat.

I've been going here for maybe a month now. The coffee is great. My favorite is the Turkish latte. They have wonderful pastries too with more selection over the weekend. It's a really small shop though and it gets crowded on Saturday.

Came with a friend recently and I loved the Turkish latte! I got it with almond milk and iced. Big thanks to Sarah and Brianna for explaining everything really well to me.

Oh my heart, the lavender latte was exactly what I needed today. Cute little shop with great coffee. They have a lovely area to sit outside, too. They offer a walk-up window ("don't forget to knock!") if you're just swinging by. Staff was super friendly and it just was a nice place to slow down and enjoy the day.

Will definitely be visiting again soon! ☕
