Unruly Cactus Books and Coffee

Beautiful little bookstore in the quiet town of Port Isabel. Across from the historic lighthouse, near artistic shops and restaurants (including the new Hopper Haus!). Coffee, original artwork, and of course Books! Great for browsing, reading, or just hanging out relaxing. Very friendly and welcoming.

such a cute and quaint little bookstore/coffee shop. we were in here browsing and reading for over an hour. the employees were all so kind and welcoming and the chai latte i got was yummy. nice selection of new and used books. this place is a gem, i hope it stays for a long time!

Passing through the book store, I saw bunch of books and seating place to have coffee, even the place was open at 8. I decide to enter and after that it was a great experience. I saw the book collection and to me this little place has very selective and thoughtful collection. The owner is very amiable and while having coffee we had a nice conversation. Will go there again and yeah I bought a harry porter new book.

Delightful proprietor. She was fun and informative. Told us all about South Padre Island and Port Isabel history. Made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Walls were filled with paintings by local artists. Some were quite beautiful. Coffee was good. Tons of books, both new and used.

A small cozy hole in the wall, the place is small but amazingly catered to bookworms and the like. If a book you're searching for the owner will generously order it for you, I can't recommend this place enough

Favorite bookstore! They always have an amazing selection to pick from. I always make a stop to buy a couple of books whenever I’m in the area.

It is such a lovely bookshop with a great selection of books. A lot of recently released books and popular books from booktok and bookstagram! The owner is lovely and very helpful. My friend and I enjoyed coffee the atmosphere was very welcoming. I will be coming back for many more books.

I absolutely adore this bookshop. The staff are super friendly and they have a great selection of books. They also have very cute book recommendations posted throughout the shop. And if you go be sure to order their lavender latte, it was delicious!
