Unruly Cactus Books and Coffee

A limited but eclectic selection of books. With a very friendly owner. Don't forget to check the clearance books for.something fun and interesting.

I went in and was completely ignored. There were other customers that the employee was talking to but felt I should have at least been acknowledged. I wanted to browse the books, which I did, but did not purchase due to this. It did have a good selection of new and used books.

As the only bookstore on this side of the RGV, Gail and her shop are an amazing light to our community. The shop is cozy, clean, and offers coffees and teas, many places to sit and rest, as well as the chance to connect with local authors and the chance to start your own bookclub. They sit on a strip of road that houses a number of locally owned businesses, and are wedged right between two other little shops. One of my favorite places already.

It was an amazing experience. The person who owns it is friendly, helpful and has an impressive collection of books to pick from. The atmosphere is peaceful and the coffee delicious. 10/10, highly recommend.

The woman running the shop is the sweetest ever! The shop itself is so cozy and has a wide range of books for sale. Plus, there's a coffee bar as well, with great choices. If you need to get a coffee, a book, or just need a place to chill out, Unruly Cactus is your place!

Even though online it shows they are open I arrived to the store being closed. Will revise review once I can actually get in, just bummed as I drove 30 min both ways to check out the store.

Great local bookstore with a small coffee shop at the back. Owner really friendly and helpful. Check out the displays from local artists too!

Update your online presence to reflect that you are closed Tuesday and Wednesday, we wasted a trip on a Tuesday and could have visited yesterday if you had bothered to correct your listing.
