Cast Iron Cafe

Cute breakfast and lunch restaurant with friendly staff. We went for the first time today. I had the waffle with egg and my husband had the chilaquiles. The have good options for coffee. Everything was delicious. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back. I love that they have a bookshelf with books and activities for kids. The old building with modern decor gives it a unique vibe.

Amazing experience at this small dinner. The owners are very kind and helpful, and quite active within their own restaurant. The fried steak is excellent and when I didn't quite like the ranch sauce on the potatoes, they were quick to change them out for something I did like. The waffles are also excellent and everything is cooked to perfection.

A very nice place to sit and have a nice cup of coffee. Also, the brunch is scrumptious.

Delicious food! Had the pancakes & fresh squeezed OJ.... amazing! Highly recommended!

Very disappointed in the service and food. Four people where behind the coffee bar chatting but nobody checks on how we doing or if we need anything. As for food order biscuits and gravy and after a few bites had enough. Gravy was over salty and tasted like store bought gravy and roasted potatoes where under cooked.

Listen up everyone. If you are looking to have a great breakfast or lunch…check out Cast Iron Cafe, in Pharr. The food is fantastic, the owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly and always checking on their customers to make sure everything is ok.

We happen to live in Weslaco, and have been there about 4 times. If we were closer we’d be there more often. This place reminds me of the quaint café’s you see in Lincoln Park or Lakeview in Chicago, which I miss. If I was still in business, this is the kind of place I’d hold small meetings at.

What have I tried there, waffles, chicken salads, my Neice had chilaquiles and my sister had a BLT. Let me tell you, it was all very delicious! Their coffee is different from others I’ve had but, I love their coffee! So take a chance…you won’t regret it!

One last thing, prices are very reasonable!

Customer Service at it's finest!!! I felt like I was a priority and my God the food!!! I enjoyed every aspect of the location from their coffee selection to the atmosphere. This was a perfect brunch by far 🥰

The chilaquiles were perfect, spicy, and delicious! A very cozy place to enjoy if alone or with company. Will be coming back to try other foods on the menu!
