Shipley Do-Nuts

The donuts themselves are very fresh, meeting the standards for most Shipley’s i’ve visited. My main problem is with their sausage kolaches, which had a dry, greasy bread and very little cheese. I hope that I just got mine from a bad batch. Other than that its a fairly typical Shipley’s with friendly staff and delicious donuts.

The jalapeño kolache‘s were really good and fresh but when I asked for a large sprite I literally got a cup of ice filled to rim and a splash of sprite …I can’t make this up 🤦🏻

I went in the afternoon and used the drive-thru because the sign said the inside was closed in the afternoon only & drive thru was available. Horrible pastries! It was very very dry as if it was sitting out for days, not fresh & the lady who served me did not have on gloves. Never coming back to this location.

This is the worst Shipley's I've ever been to. Our kolaches were falling apart. Cherry iced donuts are my favorite and those didn't even taste good. It tasted like straight icing with no cherry flavor.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the donuts from this location. I feel that the recipe used for the donuts at this location is not the same recipe used at pretty much every other Shipley's I've ever been to. And the donuts are way too sweet and way too flaky. Shipley's is known for their glazed donuts being non-flaky and a little bit thicker. The glaze donuts I got today were extremely squishy and way too flaky. Shipley's glazed donuts are normally not overly sweet, but today they were unbearable.if Shipley's has a standard recipe for their donuts, this location is not using that recipe. This is definitely the first time I've been to a Shipley's and have been disappointed.

It's a Shipley's Donuts.... The donuts are always tasty, the kolaches are always hot. The parking lot is a bit difficult to get out of due to traffic on the main road there but, with patience, it's not so bad. My favorite location is still the Friendswood location, though.

The. Costumer service here was great. The only thing is I'm older and use to the original Shipley tasting donuts. The donuts here taste similar to Krispy creme donuts. Maybe that's how they suppose to taste. In just not use to it.

I get donuts for the office occasionally and they are still warm when get to work. A great start to the day. They are better than crispy K's. But they need to get their coffee somewhere else (DD?)!

Might want to update the website!!! Woke up on Saturday little after noon and have a newborn so asked my husband to go get breakfast. Looked up the time they closed and it said 5am to 5pm it only 2pm and he got shooed away!! Either poor communication or poor customer service!! Extremely disappointed 😔 breakfast sound so good!! Way to mess up a perfect day. Thanks Shipley’s!!

I will not be going back to this place again I order kaloche and donut the lady in the back put them in the bag and threw it on the counter and it slide off to the floor they thought I didnt see that and then she did the same thing with my donut
