1st City Cafe

Drove into Nagadoches for breakfast here (Friday) & to attend SFA band camp recitals.
Greeted & seated by a smiling waiter at 9:55 a.m. who gave my wife & I a menu. Then, promptly a waitress took our drink orders (coffee & water) and quickly forgot us for 15 minutes. No drinks were ever brought nor her presence seen. Being on a tight schedule, we were wondering how long it would take our food to be cooked if drinks took this long. We left (10:10) after observing a couple who came after us get their drinks & order taken. We left for breakfast at IHOP where we received coffee, water, our food orders in 5 minutes & hot food in another 5 minutes. We made our recitals on time. Would've liked to have eaten the food here but never got a chance. 🤤😞🤠

Was highly impressed. Food was absolutely delicious. Presentation. Wait staff. Food everything. I was not expecting to be so satisfied.

The food is very good. Their customer service not so much. After 15 minutes I finally caught the eye of the waiter and ask if someone could bring coffee another 10 minutes before our order was taken. I hate excuses..more to the point....we are short staffed. Management actually never trained you to not give excuses and should never have to.

I had lunch here with friends today and chose the Fried Green Tomato BLT with a side salad. The salad was fresh and delicious but the BLT was out of this world! I hadn't tried it before but am SO glad I did.

My husband said best blueberry pancakes he has ever had. Better than his moms. ❤️ Now if only I could duplicate making them. 😊

Went to 1st city cafe and when we got there the hostess was very nice, but we sat at our table for about 10 minutes and not one server came and helped us, so we left. The food sounded good, but we couldn’t enjoy it cause we weren’t helped even when the servers saw us sitting there waiting.

Good food and reasonable prices. Staff was attentive and the hotel is interesting with all the mid- century decor. Not a fan of the bathroom being out and down the hall.

Service good but menu needs refreshing. Coffee is bitter. Tastes the same at Remington, bitter.

I quant spot with plenty of natural light.

Our anniversary trip & dinner at 1st City Cafe was perfect. Loved our experience, including the service by our waitress. Thank you.
