All I can say positive is that our app of Korean bbq tacos was amazing. We had to actually walk into the kitchen to get drinks refilled after asking not only our waiter but two others and waiting 20 minutes. Food came cold and soggy like it had sat too long waiting to be served. Let's not forget how we asked for the house fries but received plain ones but were still charged for the other. We were finally given one order of the correct fries as we were asking for the check. We were never offered dessert and properly ignored until one waitress took pity on us and brought us drinks right as we were ready to leave out of disgust. We will not be returning.

Why offer a menu when you come back and tell you don’t half the stuff we ordered? Also how is the service this poor with 3 tables on a Friday Night with 8 waiters. Starting to worry about this place taking shortcuts and going downhill, I did notice the service at the steak house was sub par as well

I've eaten here three times now, and each time was just as delicious as the previous time. I had the granola with yogurt my first time there, and loved it. The second time my sister realized she wouldn't have time to sit and eat, and the kitchen staff was so great about expediting our order, and we were on our way sooner than expected! My husband and I took our kids on the following occasion, and despite the baby throwing forks and being messy, and the older two talking quite loudly at times the staff was very sweet. They even brought me some local honey to put in my coffee instead of sugar, and fixed a smaller than normal portion of oatmeal for the baby, in an adorable little pot, since we had forgotten her baby food. And our breakfast was very delicious. We will definitely be back!

At the Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches, this 60's style cafe is a gem! Several locals mentioned this place and a few dishes to have. I had the burger, which was really good, and an old fashioned, which was also very good. My wife had their Cobb salad, which she like very much.
The service was a little lacking, but overall a great place for dinner.

Took visiting family there for lunch. Everyone got something different and we were all very pleased with the dishes. Service was great. It's a lovely venue to take out of town guests. The fries with truffle salt are delish!!

The pork sliders had very little meat and too much vinegar and the bread they served it on was way too dense. The green chicken enchiladas were served cold and they were accompanied by flavorless rice and the black beans weren't much better. My guest ordered the beef stroganoff it was just ok according to her. For an upscale place, the process are low but the food is terribly lacking. The service is good though.

I went for lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy, but I was seated immediately. My server, Katie promply came to the table, greeted me with a huge smile, took my drink order and gave me a complete run down of the menu. I needed a second to decide so my server, Katie, left for the kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised when Katie brought my drink back to the table in less than one minute. She took my order and checked on me quite often to make sure all of my needs were met. I was so impressed with the sevice. When my meal came out my server brought me a drink refill, extra napkins and condiments without me even having to ask. I had the republic burger, which prepared to my exact specifications. Hats off to the cook! What a wonderful experience.

I love this restaurant, my family and I have eaten there several times, but our last visit I was disappointed. First of all, I have been dying to try the lobster bisque which is served in first city on Sat and Sun. So we went to have my birthday dinner there last week. I ordered the bisque and could barely eat it from it being VERY salty (didn't bring that up until later) I then ordered the chicken fried steak which I have also been wanting to try, again this was so salty had to call the waitress over. She was very nice and apologized. Then the manager came over and took it away. She did remove from the tab and I ordered Salmon which was ok. They added no salt this time, I did tell her about the bisque as well and she said there had been other complaints about it. I will return, but you may to check into this.

Have dined here many times, sometimes multiple times in a day. Everything we've ever had has been excellent. From drinks, to a meal, to desserts, we have always had great service as well. We would absolutely recommend and as usual, definitely be back again
