Cafe Ü Coffeehouse & Bistro

Cafe Ü is one of my favorite Mineola stops. Every single time I go, I’m always greeted with smiles, fantastic food and even better coffee. Emily and Lizzy were a blessing for me today. Everyone does a perfect job every time. The coffee house is even so quaint and cute. I honestly would go at least twice a day if I could. Go check these lovely people out! 💖☕️🏡

Stopped here while driving through town, ordered lunch and drinks.
Chicken salad sandwich: full of fresh chicken cubes, a dryer chicken salad mix, large portion, very good.
Turkey ciabatta melt with side Caesar salad: good bread, all fresh ingredients, large freshly made side salad.
Iced tea: good.
Cold brew latte: excellent.
Cranberry scone: soft and very yummy.
Everything was served on actual plates with metal silverware!
They have many varied seating areas so our family could be somewhere quiet, and a large bathroom with a changing table, very appreciated.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! The coffee is always great and you get exactly what you want. If you're not sure, they are helpful with suggestions. The staff has always been incredibly friendly. It's a great shop to run in for a quick drink, or hang out inside or on the patio.

The atmosphere at Cafe ü is so amazing. It's a lovely place to relax with a friend and catch up on quiet talk. I love the coffee and the tea. The Christmas market they had in 2022 was so fun. We got to see so many artists and vendors.

Stopped while on a Mineola day trip with my family and have been telling everyone about it ever since. I had an ice American and my niece had a child’s frappe. Both were great and the young was very helpful. It is the most interesting setting for a cup of coffee in East Texas for sure. when was the last time you sipped a nice cup of joe on a fainting couch?

Open Mic was amazing this week! I really love how it brings the community together. When Ivey is behind the counter, she always has good suggestions for new drinks to try!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I enjoyed visiting Cafe U for the decor and the location, but felt disappointed at the actual coffee I received. The setting with its furniture and comfy atmosphere is very nice, and I loved all the history in the house. Also enjoyed the friendly staff. I came really wanting a good cup of coffee, though, and Cafe U's brew seemed really weak and watery, with hardly any acidity to the cup. This seems like one of those places for people who really want flavors in their coffee, but not the coffee itself. Specialty coffee is hard, but it can be improved, so I'll come back soon.

Lizzy, one of the baristas at this location, makes one of the best mocha lattes ever. She knows exactly what I want as soon as I walk in. She always gives the best service everytime I see her.

Love this place! Very friendly and great shaken espresso! They have my order started as soon as I walk in!
