Huge historic suite for 90 dollars, compared to when I paid 116 at Days inn for nothing. Staff are lovely, its quiet clean and a class experience. Comfortable bed. This is the place to stay im this area.

what a gem of a place and would absolutely go back for a stay.
quaint coffee shop and restaurant/bar right across the street.
close to parks for the outdoor activities.
Staff enjoyed sharing the knowledge of the area and places to check out.
Made you feel like you were right at home.

Everyone on site was so helpful and friendly! We enjoyed staying in a place with so much history. We can't wait to book another visit when renovations are completed. Great vision for the property!!

Man, what a unique stay in the decommissioned train caboose! We stayed in the red one because it was my 8 y.o. granddaughter's favorite color. It happened to be my birthday too, so we thought it would be fun and different. It was more than fun, it was fantastic! The people at the desk were incredible and friendly, the caboose had full kitchen, two bunk beds, a master suite, bathroom and ice cold AC. There's a path down to the lake with two kayaks, oars and vests sitting and waiting, we all three had a blast on the lake. In the evening, we looked at the vast amount of stars from in the open sky. (Of course had smores). That entire area is relaxed, great people and I highly recommend the train caboose, I won't soon forget it, neither will my wife and 8 year old granddaughter!

Awesome place to stay. The restaurant Hooper's was excellent, and the staff at Antler's were the best. Thanks!

Awesome place! We stayed in one of the cabins. Next door is The Grand Central Cafe which is the house the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed in. The house was moved from the filming location to where it is now and renovated but if you've seen the movie you'll recognize the house. It's a very nice restaurant and bar now and Grandpa's upstairs!!! Way cool😁
