Black Rock Coffee Bar

I honestly meant to post a review about Black Rock the 1st time I went last week, but I got sidetracked and forgot, lol. I've now been 3 times and every single time has been phenomenal!
Coffee drinks: Best I've had in ages. (I'm addicted to the Caramel Truffle.)
Prices: Much more reasonably priced than other coffee places.
Service: These employees are top tier quality. Every one of them that I've spoken to has been fast, kind, and funny.
Black Rock is offically my favorite coffee place!

Would give more stars if I could! The aroma as soon as you walk in is amazing! The taste of the coffee is not so sweet that you can't taste the coffee, it's just perfect! Staff was so friendly and kind as well. Seating is open great morning coffee hang out.

This was my first time visiting this coffee bar as my coffee shop closes a bit early. I tried the mint chip chiller and it was delicious! Staff was friendly, however, they did awkwardly ask for a tip. I usually always tip, it just seemed a bit off and unprofessional. The main issue I had with this coffee bar was the lack of plugs. I counted maybe 2 or 3 available for customers. This coffee bar desperately needs more plugs. The whole vibe of a coffee bar is to come and get work done, however, it is hard to do that when you have no power...

I'm on the fence. I liked the space, but the music was loud, and the wifi wasn't very fast so my call was choppy. The mocha tasted like something I could make at home, but everyone was very friendly and my drink came up fast so "completely fine" is probably fair.

I love the Mexican mocha!! Great size and pricing! Recently tried the black out coffee and it was delicious! Definitely a new favorite. We go out of our way to get coffee here from Katy lol so worth the drive.

I absolutely love this place, the service is amazing and their coffee is the best and affordable. Honestly I wish I had one closer to where I live because that would make me so happy and so far there are only two that I’ve seen in the Houston area. Anyway, try it! You will love! Specially the iced Irish coffee 🙂

The person at the window was very personable and fun. They did a wonderful job and made the transaction enjoyable. Even better though, the coffee was amazing. Try the jackhammer!

Excellent coffee, trendy interior, great location!!! They do have an extensive holiday menu of coffees, my favorite being the eggnog latte....better than Starbucks:)
Cannot give a higher rating due to the fact that there are zero outlets for laptops, tablets or any USB ports for phone charging.
If you want people to come and hang out and drink your coffee, put some power at all the tables.

I’m a Heavy Bang energy drinker today the lovely barista Ashley recommended a fuel energy drink and boy was my life changed! tasted way better than any gas station energy drink and the customer service is A1!!! Will be making black rock my go to morning spot!
