Coffee is delicious. They offer a variety of drinks. Iced, hot, frozen, blended, shaken, stirred... the staff always has great recommendations. Small assortment of baked goods. Definitely worth a stop!

The service was extremely good to be honest and the place is chic but if you want to find a place to work or study, this is not a place as the internet connection was not good. Disappointed that I have to find another location still with a full cup of matcha that cost almost $10 with tip. They have a drive through and ample parking.

I can't say enough about this place. They have delicious organic food options. I ordered 2 bean and cheese breakfast soft taco with medium salsa. It was really good, hot, and fast! ~$3.50 each and worth every penny. I tried the Mexican Coffee, hot, with whipped cream and oatmilk. The cinnamon in it makes it over the top. So delicious! A must try. ...And they have a drive-thru.

Not your average coffee shop... and that's a good thing! Most coffee places are slow, quiet, and feel like a library. Black Rock is bright, upbeat, everyone is friendly and in a positive mood. Trendy music playing adds to the vibe and is great place for a quick drop in or to stay and get some work done. As a business owner/someone who works remotely from coffee places, this one is my favorite.

Barista girl is perfect. Fast and smiling. I tried ice matcha lavender latte. It’s pretty good. Price is on Monday 3.50$

I love this place. Seriously. High energy staff always smiling and I love the points to earn free drinks. The drinks are better than other coffee places. And I love that they have carbonated energy drinks you can pick your own flavors. Kolaches and croissants are pretty good, I haven’t had their sweeter menu items though. Highly recommend.

Super friendly staff, great options, and good espresso!

Service was very slow, we waited for almost 10 minutes just to order and there was no one in front of us. Only one employee was working the inside, drive thru, and making drinks. Paid $7 for a blended espresso drink that tasted very watered down and had a sour taste. I asked to get a remake in a smaller size, they were very rude, argued with me and told me I had to purchase a new drink. Ended up throwing it away. Very poor experience for something that could have been easily resolved. The new store on Dairy Ashford is much better, we visit there frequently and always have a good experience.

You don’t have to look very far to find a coffeehouse. They are one of the most popular businesses to open, in large part because they require little space but mostly because of the surge in popularity of coffee and coffee beverages. In Katy, Texas, there is a new coffeehouse just opened. It’s Black Rock Coffee Bar, located right next to Grand Parkway.

This establishment is medium in size and features tables for two, bar seating next to the windows, loveseats, and one large table to accommodate a group of friends. There are artificial plants on each table and the large windows in the front are great for the natural lighting they provide.

With drinks, Black Rock serves coffee beverages hot and cold, with a good selection of specialty drinks including non- coffee options like energy drinks. There is a kids drink menu, too, and for food, they serve muffins, bagels, etc. I didn’t see many tea drinks, which was somewhat of a disappointment but there are enough options to suit most tastes.

It’s cool that Katy has another coffeehouse option, but there are a few issues with Black Rock Coffee Bar that I noticed immediately. My greatest problem is the lack of food options. Serving just a few basic foodstuffs doesn’t cut it, they need to have more. I’m also not a fan of the metal chairs. They are not comfortable to sit in for an extended period. Only the love seats in back offer any significant comfort. Also, there are not many electrical outlets, so you need to make sure your laptop or cell phone is charged and ready for use.

Coffee drinks are great and Black Rock Coffee Bar does serve several tasty drinks. I’m not thrilled with the metal chairs and the lack of food options, but the quality of the drinks, the abundance of natural sunlight, and the positive, quick service are enough to convince me to rate this establishment four stars overall.

If great customer service if important to you, this is the place to go to! The baristas are so nice and welcoming! The coffee quality is just above average. I can get a better quality drink at another coffee shop but I choose to come here to be delighted. Coffee quality and customer service is by far better then Starbucks or any other coffee shop chain.
