My wife's family introduced us to the Port Jefferson Outpost some time ago. It wasn't until our last trip this Christmas that we tried the food. I had the chicken spaghetti and it was AMAZING! My wife had the potato soup and raved as well. My father-in-law had the chili, and didn't make a sound until it was finished. I'd say it was good. We also tried some of the ice cream. They have flavors you don't find just anywhere. We also picked up some of the candied cashews. We got to try some of the cheeseball mix, and I must say, the gingerbread is my favorite of all time! This is a must-do while in Jefferson, TX.

Great little place to shop and eat in Jefferson. They serve breakfast and lunch. Their prices are good. They serve fudge and ice cream. Check it out. The people working in the store were so helpful and courteous!

The hamburgers were delicious. It took them 30 minutes for them to bring our food out.. that was the only reason I don't give them a 5 star...the store has awesome stuff too.

Awesome place to visit. Old style store with great ice cream food and crafts. Well work the stop. If you stop you have to try the fried green beans. Some of the best I've had.

My wife and I loved looking around at everything they sold there. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely swing by again if I ever pass through Jefferson again.
