Port Jefferson Outpost

Moved to Jefferson about 10 years back and although I only stayed a couple years I really love the town and met some fine folks! Just like the General Store, always a smiling face to greet you, and some thing fun to see around every corner, love the old timey feel and the classic knick knacks and toys, we always make a visit while in town for a 5 cent cup of joe! Worth the stop you will greatly enjoy!!

A hidden gem for a country breakfast in the middle of Jefferson.

Extremely fluffy and delicious pancakes, with a simple side of eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. Interestingly, the pancake syrup is made right there in Jefferson.

It's not fancy, and it's not meant to be. But it is a perfect little breakfast place.

Also, it is a small coffee and tea shop with lots of fun kitchen gadgets, as well as a toy store... And let's not forget they do have a full selection of Blue Bell ice cream for when it gets hot.

Enjoyed pancakes and bacon and lots of good coffee! The employees are friendly, interested, and accommodating.

Best breakfast in town... Very nice youngsters that work here...

You walk in and step back in time! Old school toys, games, and displays. Grab some Blue Bell ice cream while you’re there.

We arrived on a sleepy Sunday morning, got a fantastic breakfast and had a nice conversation with the local staff before we went out on the Caddo lake canoeing. it is in the centre of Jefferson, definitely worth it.

Went in here the other day and nobody acknowledged me, i definitely recommend going to the general store, where they always make you feel welcome.

Wonderful Fudge and Hand Squeeze Lemonade. There's such a large assortment of fudge and chocolates you may have come back more than a few days buying one of each. And the rest of Outpost is just as interesting.

Cute little store. We got a coupon for ice cream while visiting the drive thru safari. All the staff were pleasant and there were a lot of local goods to buy (jelly, pickles, tea).
