Love the place, cozy and chill place. Music selection is on par with the vibe. Friendly staff. The menu is easy to understand. Highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee. Maybe the iced coffee serving should be more? Or maybe I'm just a coffee addict. Anyway love it! And we will definitely visit again

Excellent space to do work, hang out, and have delicious coffee that doesn’t cost a ton of money! The Vietnamese coffee was perfectly strong and we also ordered a very good latte as well. Wished we had gotten to try the beignets as we heard amazing things but maybe the next time! Overall, highly recommend if you are in the area!

Ordered Takoyaki and Ice Vietnamese coffee for about $12.00 total. Great selection of snacks and drinks overall.
The entire area is open and spacious with plenty of seating and tables. Great place to study or just chat!
Customer service is also good!

Vibe- Cute coffee shop with lots of greenery and bookshelves along the wall; these two things were my fav as far as decor. There’s a bench outside and 3 round tables. There’s plenty of space inside: 5 round tables each with 2 seats, a long table in the middle of the floor with 6 chairs, and 6 rectangular tables with 2-3 seats. Definitely an ideal space to work or study!
Customer service- Excellent, the barista that took my order was sweet!
Food/drinks- I went with one of the recommendations from the barista and got a cinnamon sugar latte with oatmilk; *chef’s kiss* so delicious!!
Parking- It’s in a shopping center so parking was easy.

My first time here all the way from San Antonio and let me tell you how amazing this coffee is! I tried the coconut milk Vietnamese coffee and hands down the best coffee I have had! If you’re in Houston come check this place out!🤍 it will not disappoint and the owner is the sweetest person on this earth!

Good wifi, easy to park. Visited in the afternoon during weekend and the noise level was minimal, which made it a really good environment to just study or get some work done. (It started to get a bit crowded starting ~7 pm, but still it was not overwhelming at all and there were plenty of seats remaining.) They also had some great selection of essay / classic literature / self-help books as well (if you can read Korean or Japanese!)

Nice little coffee shop located in Yun-Lu Center. Has a nice, casual ambience great to catch up with friends. We ordered a green tea affogato that was pretty good.

Blkdog coffee serves a variety of coffee-based drinks (beans sourced from Columbe roasters) and tea-based drinks along with an assortment of sweet and savory snacks such as beignets, seasoned fries, and Japanese street foods. We ordered the hot Kyoto fog, iced Kyoto fog, Waffle fries, matcha beignets, and karaage. We forgot to take pictures of the iced Kyoto fog, beignets, and Waffle fries 😬
The hot Kyoto fog has a hojicha tea (roasted green tea) base topped with steamed half-and-half whole milk and vanilla. Service is very kind and quick - it came out in less than five minutes. Because I was curious of what it looks like, I opened the lid and checked the tea - it's authentic loose leaf hojicha in a bag that continues steeping as you drink the tea. There's a thick layer of milk foam on top that I couldn't resist trying alone - it tastes like a comforting cloud of foam with notes of vanilla and green tea. When I finally took a full sip of the drink, I was astounded - the robust earthiness and flavor from the roasted green tea combines perfectly with the smooth creaminess and light sweetness of the milk. Both tea and milk lovers will rejoice to the taste of this delicious and balanced beverage - get this!!! We also tried the iced version of this drink, but it was extremely diluted and bland - it tasted like they made the hot drink as is and then filled the entire cup with ice to chill it...not a recipe for success. If you're getting the Kyoto fog, get it hot.
The karaage (Japanese fried chicken in a light and flaky rice flour coating) is served hot and juicy. The chicken is cooked well and juicy, with simple salt and pepper seasoning - nothing extraordinary. Dipping the chicken in the creamy and tangy spicy mayo is essential to make all the flavors pop in your mouth. A solid but not extraordinary dish you could get here that would probably be significantly better paired with another item from the menu.
The waffle fries were incredibly hot and crunchy, and they came with the same delicious spicy mayo. They were seasoned very well and the portion size was quite big- definitely enough to share between 2 people. These were addicting! Esther didn't want to share.
The matcha beignets were powdered with matcha powder and powdered sugar. They were served hot, flaky, and crunchy along with a honey dipping sauce. Very delicious and another reason to come and try this cafe.
Overall, Blkdog Coffee is an outstanding spot for great snacks and delicious drinks that is definitely worthy of Let's Eat Houston approval! ✅

I absolutely love finding quaint little gems amongst the masses when I'm searching for the right coffee spot, and Blkdog Coffee satisfied this criteria!
I was in town and didn't want to fight the 5 o'clock Houston traffic so I searched for a coffee shop that was close and found Blkdog. This place checked all the boxes with a relaxed vibe, delicious coffee, and a super pleasant staff that kindly assisted with WiFi!
Not enough can be said about shops that hit the trifecta of coffee, service, and smooth ambiance. Blkdog Coffee does though! Check 'em out!

If there was an option, I’d give this place a 4.5 stars. Their drinks were good. The Saigon cappuccino was concentrated and rich. The lychee lemonade was good but for $0.50 more than the other lemonades they offer… I expected more lychee flavor? It honestly just tasted like a yuzu lemonade which isn’t bad. Tbh, I think the barista was having a bad day since it was overly crowded today. All the tables were filled. It’s a nice place for a café date or to study. I’ll give it one more try next time and will update my review if things change.
