Black Rock Coffee Bar

I’ve driven past this coffee spot so many times, I finally decided to stop. I got a Mexican Mocha and my daughter got a Caramel Blondie. Staff was nice and took our order quickly. The place is clean. The drinks were delicious! They also have pastries, I just got the drinks. They were not expensive either, I spent less than $10.

Black Rock has a good selection of teas & this was an herbal hibiscus tea. The blueberry muffins were big enough for 2 servings & pretty tasty. I took my order to go as it was a little too windy to sit outside but there was plenty of seating inside.

Black Rock is definitely the coolest coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Riley was super sweet and patient and the coffee is great! Can’t ask for more. I’d definitely come back!

I haven't tried their coffee, but I tried the Matcha latte for the first time and it was not good. If you're familiar with how matcha tastes like, you'll know this is absolutely not it. They use the kind of cheap green tea powder that are mixed with coconut cream powder as well, so even though there's some green color in the drink, it mainly tasted like coconut.

Okay first visit here, I'm really sick of huge coffee shops. I ordered a medium caramel truffle hot and zucchini bread in the drive thru. They asked if I wanted it toasted I said yes.
There seemed to be way more truffle than caramel, it was so thick it seemed like I was drinking hot chocolate. Couldn't finish it cause it was so muddy. The bread was cold, not sure what setting they toasted it on.. I actually think someone didn't get them memo on that.
I'll give it another shot, maybe take the time to go inside and get details.

I walked in right before they were closing the sitting area. The inside closes at 5 pm unfortunately but the drive through stays open until 7 pm. There is ample seating available when it’s open. I had hoped to get some WiFi time in but not today.

They have a good menu to choose from. I ordered my go to double shot with a splash of oat milk and a pump of simple syrup. Chef’s kiss 🤌. It was delicious and hit the spot.

I signed up for rewards with my phone number and get $1.50 off my next visit and purchase. I will definitely be back for another double shot.

The barista was friendly and helpful even though I was in there shortly after 5 pm. It’s clearly a newer coffee shop. They have a variety of cups, coffee beans, and to go drinks readily available. A solid choice for an espresso fix. Good job, Black Rock Coffee Bar!

Good atmosphere and free Wi-Fi if you are looking for a quite place to work. Friendly staff. It is more foo-foo, like Dutch Brothers than a traditional coffee shop. I tend to drink my coffee black, but I tried one of their iced drinks and it was fantastic.

We happened to be in the area and wifey and I love to try new non-chain java joints. Black Rock makes some very good frozen blended drinks. My wife went with a mocha one and I opted for a latte blended one, we couldn't figure out which was better. We were amazed at how fast the drinks came out, great service, we'll be back.

Service was great. Prices are reasonable. Much better service than the unionized rude ones at Starbucks.
It is small place and younger customers lean towards being territorial and since the tables are communal, it makes it a bit awkward.

The coffee shops like this are fighting to keep a balance between the squatters who stay all day taking up a lot of space and be good for the casual ones like me who go a short time. The design of this location is very European communal so I will see next time how it works out.
