Found this spot on the news. Some darn good coffee. Usually buy two bags monthly and enjoy my coffee every morning. Come And Take It and Remember the Alamo are my favorites. It would be cool if there was like a membership or something. Nice hidden gem in the greater San Antonio area!

My go-to Saturday morning spot and the only place I buy my coffee. All beans roasted in house, ground to your request. Perfect quiet spot to enjoy your morning with a few friends. Outdoor seating under the trees. Small, simple menu prepared and served by a lovely staff of friendly locals. Owner has a passion for coffee and community and it shows.

Excellent food, friendly service, and the bakery is outstanding. Phil, one of the owners, roasts his own coffee and is extremely knowledgeable ( best coffee around). Jen, the other owner, bakes the best cream puffs. A uniquely wonderful experience. My husband, Terry, and myself highly recommend this establishment!

What happened to this place? They use to offer great lunch options and breakfast. So disappointed in my egg quiche that was just warmed up in a plastic container. Multiple people have voiced concerns about not offering real food such as sandwiches, smoothies, breakfast options. I feel this is what brings the business into your store. Please go back to offering this stuff. I love to support places that are local.

Location and building are charming and full of character. Owner was very nice and welcoming. Food was decent, portions a little small, not very hot (temperature wise). We thought that "endless waffle" was just a name for a big waffle, didn't occur to ask if it meant we could get more than one, so that was probably on us, although we weren't told about it or offered to have another, as was mentioned in another review. But we just chalked it up as a "now we know" experience.
All in all, the staff had a great attitude, attentive and the place had a warm welcoming feel, but we'll probably just stick to pastries, especially the creampuffs, which were giant sized and delicious.

We visited this August. Tried the ground coffees. Settled on the Come and Take it Texas Strong. My wife and I think that the Come and Take it Texas Strong is the best coffee we have ever tasted to date. We purchased 6 bags. We have one bag left and I will be ordering more online soon.

Really comfortable place to enjoy a good coffee and a chat with friends.

Nice little coffee shop and bakery. They roast their own coffee. The star of what we had was the cream puff. So big and so tasty! Will definitely venture into the area again to try more!

Will not be going back. Way over priced and way too crowded. My family wanted to try something new since we haven’t been going out as much during this pandemic. Disappointed. Plus the Americano tasted chalky. Normally I drink regular coffee but the coffee was in a dispenser that the whole crowd was using. Not very smart during a pandemic. We will not be going back. Sorry and love supporting local businesses but the safety for my family is more important.
