Love this place! Great coffee and treats! They roast their own coffee and bake the treats in house.

Our visit today again shows the quality of food, coffee and service again. We were greeted immediately, enjoyed a wonderful cream puff and enjoyed delicious freshly ground coffee. We just love this place! We love to sit outside and enjoy the grounds & nature.

Best dark roast in Texas! (dare I say country?) I went on a quest to find the best dark roast befitting hard working Americans everywhere. I found Texas Grounds after trying many different Texas and other US roasters. Their "Come and Take It" roast is a fantastic dark roast. The beans are nice and dark and aromatic oil coats the beans, just how it should be! I enjoy their coffee every day using an AeroPress and I highly recommend using an AeroPress for a good cup'o'joe. Now I don't order anything but their roast in the 5lb bags. Keep up the good work y'all!

The best thing about this place is the ambiance besides that it's mediocre really. The coffee is nothing special to write home about. The pastries are fine but better exists in the city. The breakfast wraps seemed shipped to them cold and they just heat them up. The worst thing about this place are the bagels from Boss bagel.

Excellent coffee & customer service! It was my first time visiting and we had a memorable experience. This place is located in Old Helotes so you get old town/homey vibes immediately. We were greeted by the kindest ladies there who gave us a nice breakdown of their coffee/pastry menu. We bought the cream puff, Rice Krispy treat, chocolate chip Oreo brownie, Samoa latte, and iced cookies & cream latte. Their pastries taste amazing and are all homemade. Their coffee is one of the best coffees I've had here in SA (so we'll be back). They have some indoor seating but most of their seating is outdoors with covered seating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

The baked goods here are DELICIOUS. I love their Oreo balls and cream puffs especially. The staff is so kind and helpful; I had COVID and wanted to buy my dad some sweets for his birthday, and they worked with me to order over the phone and delivered in my trunk. That isn't a service they usually offer to my knowledge, but that just goes to show how much they care!

Slightly disappointed that they do not have fat free milk or even 2%. The atmosphere is great.

Haven't tried the bakery yet which takes a lot of discipline since you have to walk through the bakery to order coffee 🙄
It's so tempting 😂 but I do think this to get to the most flavorful coffee I've ever had!

This was stumbled upon by a coworker and I, and wow! Not only did they make the pastry in house (the tiny pies were my fav), they also roasted their own coffee! I loved walking up to the shop and seeing the coffee being roasted in the back. That was quite the experience.

Also need to mention that the staff here were all just the sweetest human beings. They were the kind of people I’d like to be friends with!
