This restaurant hosts a beautiful representation of Harlingens historic qualities while showcasing some of the best food in the area. The waiting area is clean and the staff is friendly. The presentation of the food is great and the taste is even better. 5/5 stars would recommend to anyone ! *chefs kiss*

Good food for sure! And delicious coffee. Will be back again. Service can be slow. But the food is decently worth it. It borders on the tipping scales on whether it's worth it or now. I think it is. Come when you ain't in a hurry. Enjoy yourself. And have some good food.

I've been here twice now and both experiences were pretty bad. I watched almost the entirety of a movie on their TV before my food came out. I ordered a bagle sandwich and it came out with soggy hash browns and bread. The yokes had broken on my sunny side up eggs and I guess my waitress let it soak everything. My dates food was cooked through with oil and ruined her meal. They have a abundance of wait staff but none of them seem to be in a hurry to do anything. Even the 3.5 stars this place has currently is too generous for this place.

I highly discourage anyone attending this place. Its noticeable that they are selective on who they choose to dine in their restaurant. I walked in with a party of two, and was advised it would be a 15 to 20 min wait.. 2 minutes later a colored couple walked in and was advised it would be a 40-45 min wait and walked right out. We waited less than 10 minutes, however families with bigger parties were seated immediately with no wait time right after we were sat. It was obvious that this place has a race issue and i’m disgusted how the manager handled the situation, as we approached her about the issue she nodded her head and acknowledged us carelessly. Its the simple fact that people are hungry and you’re denying feeding them with an unreasonable wait time.

Waited for an hour and the food was a bit overpriced. My eggs Benedict were just hard boiled eggs on English muffins and half an hour in I still didn't receive my coffee. The other menu items was decent at best and I still forgot what I even ate there other than the eggs benedict.

1st time going. Enjoyed breakfast. Will be returning, you won't be disappointed. And you won't go hungry!

On Sunday, September 19, 2021, we drove in early from Brownsville to experience the brunch and buzz of this new establishment. We arrived at 845am. I was very excited to eat the food and was hopeful it would be as good as some other well known brunch establishments. Allow me to set the expectation to know that this restaurant is still in the improvement stage. I didn’t know that yesterday but I do know now. My French toast was room temperature almost cool, the “homemade salsa” was red water-like a consommé and devoid of salsa flavor and our orange juices were watered down and lacking of any citrus flavor. Moreover, my friend’s eggs were burnt and the pancakes were dry and tasted like “batter” and not mixed well. The service was ok but all of severs clustered at a podium in the middle of the restaurant should have checked if we needed refills, napkins, etc. We overpaid for what we experienced but perhaps we *may*give it another try in 6-12 months. Hopefully, the inconsistencies with service, food preparation and management will be sorted out.

The ambience is welcoming and friendly, the staff are attentive and accommodating, and the food is good. The trifecta in restaurant must haves, in my very unprofessional inexperienced, opinion. I wish they also had Bloody Mary bar and mimosas and had a regular bar at night I would hang here at night for a relaxing time with friends. Over all great place to eat, hang, and enjoy. Tons of potential for other events and extensions of the business.

Arrive to this advertised brunch place/coffee place. 45 minute wait for a table, ok we don’t mind. We began to order and it is only 1pm, the cafe de Olla is out.. ok I’ll get a latte… we’ll the frother isn’t working, so no lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites…. My husband got the cold brew with cinnamon, they forgot the cinnamon. We then waited for an hour for our food. The food was warm, but good. We kept having to stand up and ask our waitress or her friends for napkins and refills. Terrible service, terrible wait time. The food was good so thank you to the cooks. My family and I won’t be returning. They had enough staff, and the restaurant wasn’t full, so not sure what the issue is.
