This place is great. Great selection of espresso drinks, good atmosphere, great location. Nice courtyard out back for when it’s nice out. Has WiFi. I meet with some men from my church here 6am every Thursday morning, and they are very gracious to us.

On the recommendation of my barista, I tried the Lamba Latte. It was very good. Rich and creamy with a nicely layered leaf on top, this drink had a hint of cinnamon and it was just-right sweet. The space is long and narrow, a little too breezy inside, but it is nicely finished out with a wood panel ceiling. There is also a courtyard out back which is plain but nice with a few plastic picnic tables. There is some nice art work displayed for sale from local artists.

Lamppost Coffee is a great spot to study! Front porch for people watching, quiet back room and secluded back outdoor area gives you lots of options! I highly recommend the Lamba Latte (I get mine with oat milk)! And their Sweet Slap is a fun and delicious way to get a caffeine fix quick! You won't want to miss this spot if you're passing through, and it will become a weekly staple if you're local!

This place used to be good. Lately I’ve had the worst baristas and service. My drink has been wrong the last 2 times I’ve been. On Saturday June 5th, I ordered a hot drink and was given an iced latte. Today I ordered a large espresso milkshake with extra espresso and skim milk. The barista was about to make my drink with regular milk in a 12oz cup until I pointed it out to her. Then she hands me my drink and says “we don’t use espresso anymore so I added some cold brew” so I got charged .85 extra for 2oz of cold brew? When I asked for a refund on the extra charge another employee is telling me that the concentrated cold brew is just as much caffeine as espresso. 2oz of cold brew is NOT the same as 2 shots of espresso. All this for a drink that was filled 80% of the way, and I was charged $7+ for it. I try and support local but this is ridiculous.

Love stopping here for a coffee while exploring the Georgetown square.

First time going here, I order a black coffee. 3 baristas, and they’re not particularly busy.
“Oh we’re out, is an americano okay?”
Is Pepsi okay?
When there’s coffee in the name, and I can’t get a simple black coffee it’s frustrating.
The atmosphere is cool though.

This is the cutest little coffee shop. A great place to sit at a table and work on a computer or read with plenty of room for social distancing. The coffee and espresso drinks are skillfully prepared and top-notch. Lamppost is a great alternative to larger chain coffee shops.

Great place! It was a little difficult to find parking close to the building so we parked in the parking lot across the street.
I got the lambo (cinnamon) espresso milkshake and it was delicious!! Though they forgot about my drink the owner (the guy with the beard) quickly went back and made and brought it out to me. He was very nice and willing to help.
I would def recommend this place to anyone passing thru looking for some coffee or coffee drinks.
Four stars because they forgot about my drink. But they didn’t forget about me! Mistakes happen. No biggie.

Pleasant space with well spaced tables and plenty of room so it doesn't feel crowded or unsafe. Service was good and coffee is excellent although the lack of butter for an otherwise delicious toasted bagel was an unfortunate omission.
