tl;dr
I recommend the place if you want a cute family hangout or quick, relaxing stop. Not as great for chronic studiers like myself during the weekend and some weekday afternoons. Honestly, used to be a 5/5 study spot for me but I just can't get over some of the noise level issues.

Pros:
Overall a beautiful location in Galveston. The surrounding community is a nice, relaxing neighborhood with different color houses surrounding a large pond. Outside seating is fantastic and recently renovated with extra seating overlooking the water. If you're looking to relax with a cup of coffee or a nice smoothie, this is the place! Great for families and meeting up with a friend to hang out. I personally love the chocolate, peanut butter, and banana smoothie. They also have lots of seasonal options.

Cons:
I have been coming to this coffee shop for about 3 years now. At first I came about once a week but I have recently been coming way less. The main reason is that the coffee shop has become way more rowdy over the past year or so. If you are looking to study or work, it can get really loud on the weekends and some afternoons. Most weekends have events outside with many activities going on and sometimes loud speakers. Neighborhood kids and family like to spend time here which is great, but just not the best environment for working. I like conversational noise while working and always have ear buds in, but lately the noise level has gotten so bad I can't concentrate during busy hours.

Super good coffee. Everyone was friendly and they had British Baking on TV. Can't go wrong

Great little stop! We stopped for coffee a few days ago, and had to come back again before we left the island! The atmosphere is great, the staff was super friendly, and the coffee was absolutely delicious!
