Sugar Bean

This shop was recommended by a Starbucks barista, so we sought it out. All of us liked the coffees and sweets we got. If I came again, I would sit outside on one of their patio chairs.

The resort were staying at had really bad coffee and so I was looking for a good cup of coffee. There's a Starbucks inside the Krogers but I wanted to try something different and ended up here after reading their reviews. They have good classic options with soy milk, almond milk etc as well as ice cream. The coffee was really good as well!

For a Sunday, I was not happy with service, we are regulars and we came in ordered and then watch 7-8 people get their drinks before us. We waited around 25 minutes for 2 drinks, maybe need to work 3 people behind the counter so people don't have to wait that long.

Friendly staff. Place clean. Chill. Bathroom clean.

Hidden gem! A friend and I visited the island and didn't want the usual Fourbucks experience. What a sweet and pretty little coffee shop! Outdoor seating is cute and accessible. College students and groups of friends were scattered around the nicely appointed interior. The bathroom was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The Cinnamon Bun Latte was terrific, and my friend loved the Pecan Roast coffee with almond milk. We'll definitely make this a regular stop on future trips.

Wow! This place is truly riveting. The quality of the coffee is superb. My caramel macchiato was delectable, and truly made my trip to Galveston worth it! The way the beverage slipped down my throat and into my stomach was flawless. I inhaled my drink in under 5 minutes because it was so finger licking good. The absolute punch of the espresso was ground breaking. And to top it all off, I got to enjoy my refreshment and luscious cookie while watching Big Time Rush. Absolutely recommend!!!

The cookie was alright, they should make their own ice cream.

Excellent atmosphere to study or just have a drink with friends! Quite and in a wonderful location with places to walk. Drinks are great and so are bakery items although the menu is slightly limited. Definitely my favorite coffee shop on the island. Staff is so friendly and the patio is dog friendly with an excellent view.

Super adorable coffee shop in a very nice part of Galveston. Easy access, was never crowed. Parking (on the curb) was never an issue and the shop was nice and clean. The staff was made up of younger girls that were friendly and offered suggestions on places to visit. They made my drink as requested and compared to Starbucks espresso. Did I mention how adorable the shop was?! The turquoise-stained concrete and shabby coastal vibe makes for a charming little stop. I'll be back!
