Cute diner with great soup and sandwich choices. A glass bakery case and ice cream case to peer through and choose fresh baked desserts or your favorite flavor of ice cream. Atmosphere is fun with red booths, nostalgic items on the walls & a continuous movie reel of "Grease". The food is consistently good with efficient, friendly service.

This is our go-to place for a sweet treat in Fredericksburg. We love the vintage atmosphere, the wide selection of ice cream, baked goods, and food offerings. The ice cream is top-notch and includes unusual flavors such as Lavender (which is rapidly becoming a favorite!)
It's a great place to take the kids or the In-laws after a day of exploring Fredericksburg. It is conveniently located on Main Street, so you can grab a cone after your shopping spree.

Great little vintage ice cream shop. They had so many other things, but I only had eyes for the ice cream.

Lot of flavor options and friendly staff. I had a coffee chip flavor that was super yummy.

The place itself is very narrow and on a busy street. Accessibility is not the best as with most places on Main Street FBG.

Covid safe practices were recognized and all customers and staff wore masks.

As we were about to leave Fredericksburg earlier this week, we wanted something sweet and found Clear River on our search.

So many yummy choices. I really only had room for ice cream and decided on the Amaretto peach pecan. Love the combo! Not sure if they used Fredericksburg peaches but it was delish. My husband got the raspberry sherbet which came in a cute sturdy cup. I thought their chicken cookie looked cute so I bought that for a neighbor.

A great stop! Need to stop by again to try more.

Delicious flavors but they charge by weight. If you get a medium it comes out to a large size, it was almost 8$ for one so just be sure to them you want a scoop otherwise they pack it in. Definitely try the lavender, it is divine 💜

A wide selection of delicious ice cream and so many creative baked treats. I tried several different flavors, "Rocky Road, Praline Cream and Strawberry Cheesecake" and found them all to have fresh flavors and creamy textures.
Mask requirements are being followed but I don't think the shop has done enough to maintain a 6ft distance between tables. However there's a lot of benches outside so I won't take off a star for that.

There are a lot of delicious ice cream options. There are plenty of baked goods as well. Right off of main street. You can stop in from the heat while shopping the strip
