Sagebrush Cafe & Gifts

Came in on a Sunday. There were only 4 tables with people at them. The two waitresses told us repeatedly they were the only staff and that we would be seated soon. There were a couple of guys that kept coming in and out of the kitchen just walking around, looking at their cell phones, not doing anything. The cook kept arguing with one of the waitresses, not in the kitchen but out in the front. After 35 min of this we left. Definitely don't recommend. Even on the few occasions we've actually eaten here the food is not worth the trouble of the lack of service. Have previously had problems with placing our orders, often waiting at our table for 30 min or more before even being greeted, or had drink orders taken. Skip it!

This place has gone down fast. Went there about a month ago waited to be seated for 30 mins finally left. Maybe 6 people there. Went to today ordered a salad told her I wanted thousand island or French if they don’t have those I will order something else she brought it anyway with ranch I can’t stand ranch And 13.00 bucks nothing in it lettuce and cheese sorry as hell. Will never be back I gave it two times. What has happened I guess the bar is all u care about that’s fine then stop serving food

One hell of a good breakfast in Fort Stockton Texas. Highly recommended.

Good food, good service, Friendly servers. Enjoyed the meal. When traveling through the town again we do intend to stop here again.

Just left the restaurant. We walked out after waiting for 30 minutes for our drinks and appetizer. Went to check on our drinks and the bar tender was just sitting down at a table and the waitress was holding a baby on a computer. She could have come over and let us know that they couldn't mix our drinks. 30 MINUTES WAITING FOR SERVICE IS BS!

A jewel of a cafe/restaurant. Apparently a local favorite. Food choices were healthy including a great salad -which included grilled veggies. Liked that sweet potato fries were an option. Our waitress was a communicator. This is not a quick in n out spot. It IS a spot for great service and a variety of menu items, including breakfast all day.

My wife and I stopped by Sagebrush Cafe on Sunday. We both had the country fried steak dinner and agreed that this was the BEST cfs we've had in years. Tender, almost melt in your mouth steak with perfectly fried breading. My fries were great and the side salad was topped with freshly grated cheese. Our server Tammy was super friendly. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take a photo, as I couldn't stop eating after my first bite. Sagebrush Cafe will be our new go-to place to eat whenever we're in Ft Stockton.

Have eaten there before, and it didn't disappoint us again. Plenty of hot food

The food was mediocre and cold! The only side that was worth eating were the cheesesticks. I ordered the steak fingers and they tasted like cardboard. The rest of the table ordered Green Chili Chicken Burgers and they were cold plus the the green chilis were not fresh but from a can. The service lacks alot to be desired!
