Dairy Queen

I don't usually make a point to write negative reviews because I know sometimes places are short staffed or people are having a tough day and I get that. This was, however, really bad service. I know it's a small town but it's right off the highway so I imagine they see a lot of people. I'm traveling in Texas and see a lot of businesses not making people wear masks so I avoid contact as much as I can. I placed an order online for curbside service and it said to wait 15 minutes so I parked by the front and waited. 25 minutes pass and nothing so I try to call. The phone rang whatever the maximum amount of times it can ring and disconnected. I came through the drive through and explained that I was waiting for my curbside mobile order and the person on the other end said "okay you want to come in and get it then?" And I said "oh okay I selected curbside so I wouldn't have to" and they said to wait and they'd check on my order. Another 5 minutes pass and I ask if she wants me to park before she says yes and my stuff comes out another 5 minutes later. The girl bringing my food out was visibly annoyed made me feel rude for getting the food I paid for. Just not a good experience.

I had no idea DQ had drive through food. I recommend trying the steak fingers. They are basically country fried steak. My daughter liked them. The food was decent and of course you can’t go wrong with a little ice cream to go. Good service and good food. Glad I went.

Food was hot and fresh. The gal working the window could have been a little more personal. She didn't say a single word as she handed me my order. No thank you, come back, need a napkin, anything.

We waited a while in the drive through to only get cold chicken strips. Do not go there the employees were more interested in the video games each other are playing than working.

Went through the drive thru for the first time, and the person taking our order was rude. Asked if the chocolate extreme blizzard had choco or vanilla ice cream and we got, “Hmmm I don’t know.” Wanted chocolate ice cream and had to just hope it was chocolate as the name of it implied since she couldn’t ask anyone else. Come to find out the Chocolate Extreme does not have chocolate ice cream.

Tried to come again, another person taking our order was also incredibly rude and they made the order wrong.

Service was very fast but not very accurate. It was rung up correctly, however it was not prepared correctly. Staff was fairly friendly, and it showed that they truly cared. Burgers didn't taste like D.Q. quality burgers. Location was cleaned and maintained very well.

Was in this location on Sunday March 25. The service was extremely slow. Did not even get my order straight. They also let animals come into the store. When my order was ready they gave me my to go order out right no bag. Then he did get me,a paper bag for my utensils and crackers. Asked for a plastic bag to carry out my salad employee was rude with his response in telling me they did not have plastic bags. They did not even have happy hour for half priced drinks like other Dairy Queens,across the state. Chances of going back on a,scale of 0 to 10. It would be .5. The,store was semi clean.

The food is not what I was expecting. I got a taco salad which was good, my family’s food was all flavorless. Burgers. Also we ordered a shake and they said they would bring it. We got our food and ate. We had to go back to the register and ask for it. Then they said we are getting it as if there was no mistake on their part. Should have apologized at least.

They have $1 cones every day! Can't beat that.

It's a little busy but it's so busy because of how popular the establishment is in town. Staff are friendly and eager to get your order quickly as possible to you. Burgers are good, the blizzards are the best and the ice cream cakes phenomenal!
