I’ve been coming here for years to buy excellent coffee and beans. Today I had their breakfast slider which was so amazing I finally got around to writing a review. A thick sausage patty, well seasoned egg, and cheese on a pink bun- for only three dollars. It’s a coffee shop, but they do an amazing breakfast too!

West Oak has been my favorite coffee shop (along with their other store Kimzey’s) for about six years now. Every drink I’ve had there has been a 9/10 and often a 10/10, be it decaf or regular, latte or specialty drink. It’s a small wait for a drink only because they are always busy, so it’s totally worth it. The staff has always been superb and immediately upon entering it feels like a place that calms your pulse because the design is a great mood stabilizer. If you’re new to town, have a friend visiting, or just to bring your friend or family with you to visit one of the Square’s best stops, you won’t be disappointed. Also, they update their Instagram regularly so you can enjoy seeing the staff and customer stories, which are very inspiring.

Fantastic coffee! Superb quality and taste.

The atmosphere is nice, but the coffee is poor. We stopped here based on reviews and was disappointed about the quality of the coffee we received, especially when it was 14 dollars for 2 large vanilla lattes. We will not be returning.

I love West Oak! This is the first specialty coffee shop that I visited when my wife and I moved to Texas from Southern California. We did not have many expectations coming from California coffee culture to Texas, but we were blown away and I would say that this shop is on my top five that I have visited in the world!!! (Portland, Seattle, LA, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Costa Rica, Ireland, Texas) Please visit West Oak you will love their staff, atmosphere, and genuine love for the craft of coffee!

Great coffee place and good food! Lots of seating inside, but be mindful of all the college students during peak study times. Very beautiful location for the tourist, very good coffee for the coffeeholic.

This is a far overdue review for my experiences on 10/18/2019.
My husband and I are not really coffee drinkers, but we splurge every so often on special occasions. One such occasion was the day before we got married and we decided to grab breakfast and coffee on the square. We had never been to West Oak Coffee Bar and wanted to try it out. When we walked in, we were instantly greeted with warm smiles and hellos. Of course, me being a novice coffee drinker and all, I had no idea what I wanted to drink. Fortunately, the barista was beyond helpful and made several recommendations and our drinks were DELICIOUS.
My now husband and I sat down at one of the many comfortable seating options and began to enjoy our drinks, the entire time being absolutely smitten with each other. One of the employees personally approached us and asked us what the occasion was and we said we were getting married the next day so we were in very good moods. Upon hearing this, he went OVER THE TOP to make our first trip special and warm and we just loved every bit of our visit.
West Oak Coffee Bar is now our favorite place for a quick coffee when we’re on the square. The coffee is great, the prices are modest, and the staff is phenomenal. Thank you, everyone at West Oak Coffee Bar, for helping to energize us before our special day!
TL;DR: Great coffee. Modest prices. Phenomenal staff. Just make the visit, I am sure you won’t regret it.

West Oak never disappoints! Every time we are in town to visit our kids, we stop in, at least once. Cool vibe, delicious coffee and matcha, great food ... it's win all the way around.

Highly enjoyable. Cool interior, plenty of room, and a great location. I enjoyed the "Breakfast Toast" (can't go wrong with jalapeño cheddar bread). The Chocolate Cold Brew (mixture of fresh chocolate milk and their coffee) was delicious (not too sweet), but the coffee on its own was even better. Mixing it with the milk (which itself must be amazing) for the cold brew seemed to "cheapen" or mask each beverage's individual flavor. A bit pricey, but great weekend treat!

Absolutely love it here. Great staff. Great coffee. I bought their Pitsuwan: Doi Saket blend and it’s my favorite coffee blend. I was sad when I heard it was going away. But I’m sure they will have other new fantastic blends.
