West Oak Coffee Bar

This is by far, hands down, without a doubt my favorite coffee shop in Denton. Love every drink they make here. Some of their seasonal drinks are just so unique and the aesthetic makes it feel super homey. Exposed wood, a nice bar and a lot of seating.

Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. I wish more coffee houses like this existed instead of Starbucks. The yam spiced latte that I tried was good. Never heard of that flavor before but they only had yam spice or vanilla. So, beware if you're looking for caramel flavoring.

It was ok. Food options were frozen and reheated in toaster oven - no thx no flavor. When for bikes & coffee and tried chai tea latte again - eh

Great atmosphere. Good service. Food is trying to hard to be pretentious, and is a bit pricey. I am not trying to say that this place is bad, but you are paying for the atmosphere which is like a low key bar. I may come back and give it a second chance... but I'm not convinced after my first visit.

They have a little over a dozen craft beers on tap, which are available from the time they open at 7:30 am. Their Baristas seem to be very knowledgeable. I already addressed the food. And don't forget to bus your own table after paying extra for the pleasant atmosphere.

Great breakfast choices! I love building my own toast. A little high price for drip coffee, but I can't complain. Atmosphere, staff, location and quality food. With vegan and gluten free choices for those who require such.

One of the best coffee shops in town. Great coffee. Chocolate milk on tap. Great food selections. Friendly staff. I just wish they had more outlets.

West Oak is exactly what a modern coffee bar should be. Coffee is consistently perfect every time, every drink. The serve both traditional and inventive creations. The food (which I tried for the first time this trip) was exactly what I would want every breakfast cafe to be. Fresh, delicious, creative, and best of all well priced. If I lived near here I would probably eat here every morning. Finally, the staff is friendly. No coffee pretension here. I was helped by several amazing kind individuals. West Oak Coffee Bar is one of my all-time favorite coffee/breakfast bars.

Where do I start. So kind. The owners are so kind-hearted, sweet, loving and just incredible. The coffee is great. The espresso is on point. And the space is super cozy. Love this place and love these people.

I love West Oak. The coffee is always great and their beans are excellent. I buy from them at least once a month because they always have fresh beans. The staff here are friendly and have always helped me decide what beans I want. I love studying here, but sometimes it’s so busy that there’s no where to sit so I mostly stop by on my way to class to get a pour over. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Denton!

You are in luck! There is a great coffee shop on your way out of Dallas driving North, that is not very far off the trail! Maybe 5 minutes... seems like a great place to sit and enjoy a cup with a friend or look serious on your computer. Lots of seating for both types here, but not so condusive for huge groups. Cool lighting with nice warm tones. I looked at the bags of coffee they sold (which they roast their own downstairs) and they tell you their roast date. Yes! Already good times ahead. Yummy bakery items on display. I got the latte and it is delicious. Very happy. I will be back.
