West Oak Coffee Bar

The coffee here is top notch. I ordered an ice coffee and a hot coffee - both black - and they were very well balanced and not overly extracted or bitter. It’s clear these baristas know how to properly brew coffee! The atmosphere is wonderful, and well suited for working alone or with a group. If you aren’t feeling coffee, they also have beer on tap! I will keep coming back for sure. My only wish is that they would open at 6:30am on the weekdays so I could make this my morning commuter coffee stop.

West Oak offers quality espresso based drinks and a well geared, well organized, and knowledgeable staff.

Unique spot in Denton town square. There is plenty of seating. The drip coffee was good. Definitely worth a try.

Ohhh West Oak. As a local Dentonite I doubt I have spent more time at a coffee shop in town than West Oak. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff great, and the coffee delicious. If you are visiting Denton you must come here as you're our using through the shops on the square. If you're new to Denton, why haven't you come here yet?

West Oak is an excellent coffee place but also has delicious food and treats. Also, they feature many good craft beer options if thats more of your thing.

The only bad thing I could say is it is a little expensive compared to other shops in town. You can get better or equivalent quality coffee at a few other shops for a few less dollars, but you do sacrifice atmosphere and creative drink options in the process.

Beautiful coffee shop located on the square in Downtown Denton across from the courthouse. Excellent choices for your caffeine intake with seasonal favorites. They also serve bites that you’ll find at most coffee places. Enjoy your coffee on the patio seating with a great view of the gorgeous courthouse!
