Simple ingredients prepared creatively by a happy cook and friendly attentive service make this small-town diner significantly better than most. Try the Slopper for breakfast.

We were passing through town on our way home from Dallas and found this little grill on-line. It was worth getting off the main drag for. Great burgers. My husband loved the stuffed avocado. Great service. Enjoyed the nostalgic vibe

Wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant. Great breakfast and lunch. We'll be coming back.

Lots of spectacular pictures of the hamburgers but I just wasn’t in the mood for that today. Had the crispy tacos and they most excellent. If you order them the over/under for the number of napkins you will need is set 5 (bet the over!). The wife had the steak fingers and they were massive. In fact pretty much everything here is like a DQ on steroids. (The old lady waitress on Hell or High Water) “And they don’t serve no ^*#%>^% trout.”

We stayed overnight in Dalhart after a very long travel day. I had the best patty melt ever...gooey, messy, perfectly cooked...and the French fries were awesome as well. Don't miss this place!

I had the crispy chicken sandwich, delicious. A hole in the wall joint but great service.
