Burgers are amazing! The rest of the food (fries, tots, fried mushrooms) was horrible but the burger made up for it. It is a great old-school burger joint in a small town. You know a place is good when the parking lot is full, and this place was. The burger was cooked perfectly & very filling. Tried the fried mushrooms (still frozen in the middle) & fries & tots (cold like they were made an hour earlier & put under a heat lamp). Normally with the quality of the sides I would give 2 stars - but the burgers were just that good.

The outside is deceptive. Go on in! I got the chicken sandwich, no bun extra pickles and it was delicious 😋. Fast service and great food.

Lovely server. She gave us extra bacon for my dog and served us out front on the porch. Don’t miss this spot. Excellent all around

Great burger! I was traveling through from Denver to Dallas and wanted a good burger. Not a fast food one. I drove just a few blocks off the main street. The service was very friendly. They make the burgers after you order but service was very fast. The burger was fresh and delicious! I got the curly fries that completed the order. I will stop again on my way back through. This time adding photos.

Pretty good, was in town and wanted to try it for nostalgia. And while it was quite delicious, didn't quite hit like it used too. Definitely a good spot for some good food tho.

Stopped for breakfast. We have passed by this location dozens of times this past year. Found it with our Google map. Glad we stopped. Our waitress was wonderful! We were greeted the minute we walked in. Promptly attended to with coffee. Menu was simple/easy to read. Affordable. Love supporting local businesses. Omelette was cooked perfectly. Real eggs. Hash browns nicely prepared also. Biscuits were probably frozen and heated by steam which would account for the over-soft, white bread texture. I prefer a biscuit with the oven baked tender crisp, flaky texture. Gravy plain and/or sausage (sausage pieces were tasty) was probably a mix made with water. Which both were made well for that type of product. Neither are the homemade style you may mentally be craving. Coffee was good and hot and refilled often. They also feature breakfast burritos. May try that next time as we travel through often. Nice little spot. Plan to return for the highly recommended burgers. Again, the waitress, I forgot to get her name, was fabulous! Seemed to genuinely care about her guests. A rare quality.

Excellent cheeseburger and curly fries. The chocolate malt was divine, it took me straight back to my childhood. The staff were friendly and helpful, and service was timely. I'd make sure to come back here anytime I'm back in Dalhart, you should too!

Spent an hour waiting on the pictured below “everything burrito” that was on the breakfast menu.
However, apparently the everything burrito we asked for from the breakfast menu was mistaken for something else even after clarifying we wanted salsa with our breakfast burrito… flys everywhere…not sure how people eat here.I Do not recommend. $8.19 each for the below pictured “everything burrito”. Again, I don’t recommend.
