Shipley's Do-nuts

Shipley's on across from bay area hospital is by far the best donuts! They Have friendly staff and their donuts are fresh every time. My favorite are the cake donuts if you've never tried you need to their delicious!

As Jackie Gleason said - how sweet it is! Sometimes too much. wish they had some a little toned down in sugar at least for cake donuts. The old-fashioned cinnamon rolls head in that direction, especially if you get un-iced.

I love their donuts, this was the place in my hometown we went to get donuts from. I enjoy having this company in now my resident town. The counter help was professional courteous and quick, and my order was right.

Decent Food. Not the best or worst donuts, but I do like the variety they offer. I like that they have a drive thru which makes it easy to grab on my way to school. Although the food is decent, the staff is typically not friendly and kind of stand-off-ish. My total came out to $4.04 and I gave him a $5 bill. The guy in the drive thru kept asking me if I had the 4 cents even though I told him I didn't and got grumpier at the idea of having to give out change.

Pretty poor customer service. They don’t realize the amount of money lost by having a card minimum. Small time thinking, instead of acting like a class organization the employees are generally just rude. I’ll just go with the local donut shops. I tried to have a discussion with a manager before going the review route and nobody would ever respond. I finally talked to someone at corporate who was very helpful. He gave me a couple coupons to use as a gesture to which the local franchisee refused to take. They want the benefit of the corporate name but act like an independent. I’ll just go with the actual independent since this place doesn’t care to provide decent service/response

As a almost daily customer, today I noticed that my card had been charged twice. Once for $7 (my order) & once for $53...I went in just now and kindly started to tell my story and before I could finish, the lady CUT ME OFF and waved her hand and said, "I can't help you, come back tomorrow" I am a very patient, understanding person, but that type of unprofessional behavior is ridiculous. I'll drive out of my way to get donuts from here on out.

I'm not sure why they can't take pre-orders or credit cards over the phone. They took it the first 2 times I called. The 3rd time, the (same?) lady told me to just come in the morning. I asked if they could punch in a CC number because it's a company card that I don't physically have. She said she didn't know because she doesn't work mornings...? Sounded like she didn't want the hassle, or business, so I said I'd go somewhere else. Two stars for doing it the first two times.

The people there were excellent otherwise I wouldn't have even given one star the donuts on the other hand didn't taste right at all the cake donuts were all gooey in the middle uncooked I wasn't happy with the experience

The older female cashier who took our order was impatient and rude, had no trouble showing her frustration by slamming bags because she she didn't take the time to get the whole order before walking away trying to fill it, i usually spend about 20 dollars with my husband's order but I didn't today. We were finishing our 17years anniversary visit to Corpus Christi and heading home. Should have just kept driving. 2 stars are for the food, it was good. Management shop your store on the weekends.

Ordered a chocolate milk. It was bad. Had chunks inside of it. It's like they left it out and then decided to refrigerate it. Never eatting here again.
