Good coffee. Right in the heart of the city behind independent and next to Trader Joe's. Been there a few times. Their americano was top notch. Lukewarm though. Had to ask again to reheat. Their latte was good too. The staff is friendly. Doesn't have a huge sitting area inside. On colder days that might be an issue. Overall, great place for a good coffee.

Flew in to Austin for the day and needed some coffee before walking around town! Great coffee and they were kind enough to fill our bottles with water before we left. 🤙🏼

I was introduced to merit coffee at the Carpenter hotel here in Austin. I fell in love! This morning went to pick up a bag of their coffee so that I can make it at home and everyone there was so incredibly friendly! The environment inside of the café feels late and not pretentious which is something I really appreciate. Thank you for coming to Austin in sharing this amazing coffee with us!

The beautiful aroma of coffee hits you as soon as you enter this artisan coffee shop. It's an amazing coffee shop with beans that have a nice floral, fruity taste. Also shout out to Austin being the nicest and best barrista ever. The guy is an expert and will help you with his suggestions. Overall a must visit!!

Terrible first experience, waited for almost 20 minutes for my coffee after ordering. When I tried to get the servers attention he ignored me so I had to know on the door. When I told him what happened he said did you call and gave me attitude, then after bagering me as if I was the one in the wrong said.. " yeah your coffee is right here" they have good reviews but this was a terrii experience. Plus my coffee was just ok and I'm pretty sure I only got two shots when I ordered 4. At least Starbucks is just around the corner. Sorry Merit coffee but you lost my business.

So love this place. Am a coffee shop veteran with particular taste. I was so pleased. Good for quick stop or long stays (done both), coffee is smooth af, love the tea, great aesthetic, very nice and knowledgeable and laid back staff. Had low expectations based on the shopping center, but changed my tune completely. Pleased as punch. Go there.

I love coffee, I could drink easily 5 short macchiato's a day. I was visiting Austin and looked for a coffee shop near me. Man was I glad I found this place. The coffee shop is nicely furnished, the staff super friendly and the coffee tasted amazing! Seriously one of the best cups of coffee I've had.

Merit's iced latte with almond milk is delicious! Coffee is strong, almond milk is high quality. Seating is limited due to Covid, but there are a few spots inside and outdoors. Highly recommended - I'd visit again.

Absolutely amazing cup of coffee! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The space is not very big, but big enough. The menu seems quite curated. It has a cool vibe and the parking it’s not bad at all! Highly recommended!!

Worst coffee I've ever tasted, I've given this place 4 tried with different drinks and each time it's not just not good, it's BAD, like want to spit it out bad, can't finish it and why did I just pay $4 for this, BAD! I know other people seem to like it, I have 1 friend who loves it, but my boyfriend agrees with me that it's just terrible coffee, we can't explain what it is, over-roasted, too oily...?idk
the cafe itself is really cute and the service and pastries are great, but it will remain a huge mystery to me why people like this coffee
