Love this Merit Coffee Shop right at the Seaholm Power Plant in downtown Austin. Very convenient to get that break out from the surrounding offices and walking distance for residents in the nearby condos. The service is superb as well as good internet access speed.

I’m visiting from out of town arrived here at 3:00 pm on a Tuesday. When seeking a place to work remotely, I look for good Wi-Fi, natural light, semi-quiet (music won’t interfere with calls, plenty of places to sit and plug-in, good coffee/tea. Keeping in mind my late arrival, I found it all here. Don’t think they have a dedicated parking lot. I parked on the metered street a block away, couple hours costed about $4 (normal for downtown, right?) which is the only reason I deducted a star. Nice place, I’d come back.

Excellent cappuccino! The breakfast taco I got looked underwhelming but tasted delicious. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot for some laptop work.

Incredible coffee. Their Geisha Slow Roast is easily one of the most flavorful, aromatic, delicious cups of coffee I’ve enjoyed.

Good coffee and vibes, lots of dogs too.
Seats are a bit uncomfortable to work for long periods of time and music is a bit noisy so you may want to reconsider if taking calls here. Lots of charging plugs though!

Classic coffee shop! Merit has great prices for their selection of treats and coffee. I was able to work on my laptop for a while here without feeling disturbed or pressured to leave. The environment was generally quiet with occasional noise.
