My favorite coffee shop! Very aesthetically pleasing with good lattes

Greater Goods is in my top 3 coffee places in Austin. They have a great selection of coffee that they roast in house (including tons of limited time/seasonal rotations) and their space is beautiful. Very airy and open and a great place to set up shop for work for a day. The baristas are also all extremely friendly!
They also offer classes in their training lab such as latte art, brewing and lots more. I recently took a latte art class with Miranda and it was incredible. She was so informative and hands-on and by the end of the 2 hours I learned how to get the perfect steamed milk and how to pour a heart and a tulip.

The space itself is immaculate. Super clean and modern. I had probably one of the best latte’s I’ve ever had there today. Only downside is the inside is kind of small so it may be difficult to find a place to sit when it’s busy.

I signed up for the pour over workshop and Miranda was amazing. I went by myself to this class and was very nervous since I know nothing about coffee. She really made the environment welcoming and fun. I’m coming back in two weeks for the latte art class!

Highly recommend this spot for anyone but especially those who nerd out over their coffee. Love their beans and their brews - the cold brew and strawberry fronks matcha are my favorites.

Really, really disappointed. You'd think a long line to get in might be a good sign but don't let it fool you here.
Overpriced drinks. Got a dry, flavorless cinnamon roll and the lemon pound cake was just as gross. This may very well be the worst coffeeshop I've been to in Austin. Dogs inside everywhere. Would've given it zero stars but the staff were super kind and chill and the space was clean. Next time you want coffee just go to... anywhere else, really.
Edit: Well goodness someone’s quick to reply to reviews. So that’s good. Have a star back. :P I’ll come by another time, maybe not a Saturday. And hopefully there won’t be dogs everywhere. 🤞🏻

Quality coffee, quality staff, executed well, and was a beautiful atmosphere. A must see.

Pretty tasty but not sure if it was worth $7 for a latte. The space is nice but setup is a bit awkward. It feels too open with everyone facing one another and people watchers—perhaps not the place for those who value any type of privacy. There is no clear space to stand in line and no signage toward coffee pick up (guess you just have to be a regular). It’s definitely a 20- early 30ish vibe.

Scheduled a cupping event for a weekend and had to reschedule because of an unfortunate life event. Called the shop, no one seemed to know who I needed to speak to. Called again next day, I was given a generic email for their training team. Reached out via email a week in advance to my scheduled event to try and reschedule. No one responded to that email. Called a third time and got a different email that was supposed to go directly to the employee who runs the program. Never got a response, wasn’t able to reschedule and the shop kept the money I had pre-paid for the event without a word from their end. Extremely disappointing.

Matcha affogato was really unique! Loved the atmosphere of this place.
