Black Rock Coffee Bar

Wow, been here several time, and everything I have gotten here has been good. Like it better then Dutch brothers if you want a sugar rush Dutch brothers it is. Good tasting coffee hot, frapp or ice Black Rock Coffee it is #1.

The coffee here is great and the service is always friendly.

Family has tried several options of food and drink now, most are decent and fairly flavorful. One son swears by the Caramel Truffle Chiller, another enjoyed the Caramel Truffle iced. Third has impulse issues and could not choose just one, so he got an Italian soda said it was good, also got the Chai Latte Chiller and the Mexican Mocha and loved both. If you like the taste of Irish Cream coffee, you are in luck! Their hot Irish Cream was so good the first time I tried it, as soon as I finished it I dang near drove back to get another! Asked eldest son to pick up an Irish Cream for me today and he brought home the cold version. It had no Irish Cream flavor at all, so it was a disappointment, but still a nice cup of coffee.

Really good coffee but you definitely pay for it as these things are expensive. Staff is always friendly with a laid back vibe and having conversations with you.

This place was a breath of fresh air
... Literally. I think Starbucks has lost their sense of cleanliness and morality. BLACK ROCK COFFEE was fast, efficient and good strong coffee.

We were very excited to try this place over the weekend. Couple of things: the drive-through is poorly engineered, they came up about 12 to 18 inches short for people driving a truck, won’t make that mistake again - although I’m not sure we will be back. Someone needs to pull aside the young lady working the window and ask her to bring it down a notch or two. I know she has probably been drinking coffee literally all day but the high-pitched loud squealing at customers 100 miles an hour is not what everyone comes for. Seriously off putting. And why Dino want to provide you my phone number!!?? It’s coffee.

You also need to work on your point of sale. Passing an iPad back-and-forth for people to sign a credit card transaction is clunky, work that out.

Lastly and most importantly the coffee just is average. I ordered a Mexican mocha and they did not have the ingredients to make it so they said they would fake it and it was awful. We pulled over and threw it out. My husband ordered a mocha hot, he drank it but said he would not return for another. So many mom and pop coffee shops popping up everywhere PJs, black rifle, black rock, if you want to be memorable and have returned business, make good coffee and have friendly people..

Black Rock has quickly become my favorite coffee stop in Arlington. Everytime I've been here it has been consistent, with friendly customer service.
So far my favorite drinks have been the Irish coffee, or the coffee or green tea latte with lavender.

Awesome place, Barista-Soraya was amazing!!!!! Great service!!! So charming and fun!
