Palace Coffee Company

Mrs. Flip Out continues her coffee quest as follows: On our way through Amarillo, Palace Coffee Company came up on the list and so we made our way through the old downtown area. It was an awesome stop and is now on my all-time favorites list! The atmosphere was perfect for studying, working, or meeting up with friends. The menu had very specifically crafted drinks and it was difficult to choose one. I got the Honey Badger and loved it. Not too sweet and flavorful, it was just right. The Dr. Brew and the Aztec Mocha sounded amazing as well. Anyone can tell much thought has gone into all the details that make a good coffee shop a great one.

We LOVE it here!!! The staff and atmosphere here is truly incredible. Not being from Amarillo and having only tried this place once we immediately fell in love! ❤️ I got a vanilla cold brew which was very rich and creamy! My sweet puppy ofcourse got the pup cup and It didn’t last a minute. Nothing but wonderful things to say and we will definitely be back

It is wonderful to find a place that operates in a way that aligns with your principles. Be kind. Encourage community relationships. But to find such a place that has great coffee and pastries is even better. If we were local we would have to try all locations and it would likely be our favorite hangout.

I visit this coffee place often. Actually, all the locations in Amarillo, TX. Today one of the guys there approached me while I was on a zoom meeting and rudely interrupted. He stated that if I didn't buy anything then I could not use wifi, it was a policy. He sent a girl with a menu and she said I needed to order. I asked, I have came here since last year several times. I was just at the location on Georgia last night. I ordered a Chai. Never seen this policy anywhere. She then said it was not a policy it was just word of mouth. I try to support a local business but with a staff this rude, never again will I visit a Coffee Palace. If I need to upload all my purchases here I will. Starbucks will earn my business as they don't mind if you don't buy something right away and get to using the wifi.

Breve & Chi Lattes were very good. A good bold & rich roast in their espresso. Plus a very nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy coffee at any time of the day.

Amazing staff and atmosphere..Mallory was so personable..i felt like a regular even though it was my first time. They make thier own syrups in house and have seasonal available as well. I was highly impressed with the whole experience. Definitely highly recommend. -MD

- Good Coffee that is Made Right (not everyone knows how to brew their coffee. However, they do!)
- Neat Place (everything is organized, clean, and nothing extra)

Super friendly service and no one scoffed at me when I asked for decaf at 7 am! Local roaster with great options whether you are a connoisseur or just looking for a quick cup of Joe. My decaf pour over was so delicious I got some beans to go home.

If you are a coffee fan you must go here! l had heard good things about it from a couple friends and how it had won best coffee shop in the US so l made sure to check it out on our road trip. The coffee is great, the barista who took my order was such a nice guy and the aesthetic of the place was super cool with antique Texas and US flags. The other Amarillo location is really cool too and has a modern aesthetic.
