One of the top 3 burger places in Amarillo, trust me I'm a contractor and work throughout the entire city, I use to eat at whatever was nearby, but that got old real quick, because sometimes there wasn't any decent food place near where I was working. So I decided to have a good lunch and break up the routine of a hard day's labor. You work hard, you deserve a good meal. So when I'm in the mood for a great burger, golden light is my stop. You really do need to treat your self every so often, you will love your self for it. Plus the staff is really helpful. Hope you make this place one of your stops, buen provecho.

This place is always super fun has a lot of history and entertainment. I really enjoy coming to the golden light and seeing good friends good music. I highly recommend this place to anybody traveling through the area it's always an eclectic fun place. The variety of entertainment that comes through here is great. If and when you're in the area and you go to the restaurant it's always entertaining as well, they'll take the time to explain the history of the restaurant to you and serve you a fantastic Burger. Thanks to the staff that runs the place that are awesome everyone is fun and accommodating.

Can not wait to be in Amarillo again just for this place. Burger was excellent. That perfect char you only get from a well seasoned flat top grill. Great fries! And thr staff couldn't have been friendlier

A great hole-in-the-wall local burger joint. If you are looking for a delicious local burger favorite,it doesn't get much better than this.

Friendly wait staff and good burgers. Be warned, the small fries is huge and even better smothered in cheese.

Good food and cold beer!!

This place is amazing. Little greasy spoon hole in the wall diner that's been open in Amarillo since 1946 (at least according to the menu). Amazing burgers and HUGE helping of addictive fries. We ordered one large fry for four of us and barely finished it. Super greasy but super delicious. Especially perfect if you're hung over. This one is a MUST.

Really good hamburger and the real friendly wait staff the atmosphere was very close we had to share a picnic type table with three people we did not know it was all good though

Food was great, beautiful and casual waitstaff. Cons: small buffalo burgers for almost $14.00 and dry skinny unseasoned fries. Way too pricey for what you get
