Sometimes there is nothing better in the world than a greasy burger and a basket of perfectly fried fries. If I lived in Amarillo, I'd weigh around 300lbs because of this place

Absolutely best burger in town! Great prices! Great service! Great atmosphere! I can't say enough good things about this place! If you want an authentic burger this is the best place to go hands down!

Went in for lunch today with some co-workers. When the food was brought out to us, my co-worker ordered a hamburger and it came out with a bug crawling on top of it. The burger did not even make it to the table, please help me understand why the waitress did not see the bug. The waitress did bring her a new one. While we was about to leave there was also a bug that was crawling down the wall behind us. They did not charge her for her food, which is only right. We will not be going back there. The place is very dirty and nasty.

Place was semi busy and we chose the option to sit on back patio of Golden Light rather tban inside. Waitress took our drink orders and they were brought with menus of lunch options. We ordered the jalapeño hambuger, unsure of exact menu name, had some heat from jalapeños but a very blended taste with other vegetables options. Also ordered the cheese fries(small one) served the 3 of us and has balance of cheese on the fries. It does take time for food to come from the kitchen as it is prepared from scratch so it is not a place to eat if you are wanting to eat in limited time frame. Our wait time was close to 30 minutes waiting for food to be served and it was just semi business as we got there as lunch rush was past. So do not get in a hurry to eat and I enjoyed the time to talk and entertain my great grandchild. She enjoyed her PBJ sandwich, fries and juice box drink and granddaughter and I enjoyed our lunch.

Wow, epic. Saw Pink Fuzz and Trench Rat play there. Pretty nice time.

Simple flat top burger joint. Old school dive kind of feel, but in a good way.
