Cattleman's Cafe

The food was good but the cafe was really out dated. Didn't know there were any restaurants left that still allowed smoking! So that was kind of a very unpleasant surprise but we still stayed. Our waitress was very nice and attended to us. We just probably won't ever dine in again due to the smoking.

I love this place bc I've been going here for as long as I can remember. The bar crowd spilled over into the Cafe on Sunday mornings, standing room only, the cigarette smoke hanging thick in the air, maybe evidence of a bar room brawl from the early morning hours, the smell of fried eggs, bacon grease, and beer. For a kid from the country this was pretty exciting stuff. A happening place for sure. I still get nostalgic walking in, it just feels homey to me. Everyone's old friends. Not to mention the food and the service is still good enough for me.

Pretty good food, and the portion to price ratio is amongst the best time town.

Always open food is damn good coffee is enjoyable.

I freaking love this place Debbie, Sherry and a few others are the heart and soul of this place and it's so beyond nice to smoke a dadgum cigarette after your meal without having to step outside, food is delicious and carefully as well as thoughtfully prepared I have been going here since I was a wee little one

Just great food. However the prices have changed not outrageously but different pricing than before. Still good. The pies are homemade and tasty.

For many years chasing tornadoes, I would NEVER stop in Amarillo. But I finally stop at spend a little time at Cattlemens and I have fell in love with the people, especially the owner. I have been back to this place at least 5 times. The food next door is good. The prices are awesome.

They just have the best chicken fried steak ever and they've great service and the oatmeal is awesome

Great food, and awesome vintage cafe feel to it. Wonderful wait staff, and couldn't recommend this place enough. Comfort food, in the best setting.

I always have nothing but good things to say about the cattleman's cafe. Great Service Great Food 👍
