I Love this place it was always Good Food but lately its gone down hill on the food service an the taste of food i will only come eat wen RON IS COOKING HE IS THE BEST THAT EVER HAPPENED TO THEM ,HE IS A GREAT COOK to bad he doesnt work more days like he use to or id come more often ,this visit i only drank coffée but next visit ill eat cuz if RON is here cooking like to thank one of the waitresses she was very nice i wish i had asked her name . Hopefully they will find another good cook for wen Ron decides to quit .GOD BLESS U ALL AMEN

Been here several times. This time was the worst experience I've had. The food is always mediocre at best. I ordered the same thing I order every time (western omelette). Eggs were under cooked and it was packed with onions (that's all I could taste) biscuts were burnt and bacon was very overcooked even though I specifically asked for it to not be "fall apart crispy". Couldn't get the waitress' attention to resolve my issues. And when paying the waitress said "you should have said something and we would have re-cooked it". I never send food back I'd rather not have the meal and not pay for it. Was not the usual cook and was a trash meal for not cheap. Do not choose Cattlemans! Waffle house, Denny's, IHOP... Anywhere but cattlemans for your late night dining is my recommendation! Garbage establishment!

I have to give them 5 stars great portion price a little lower than normal. Number 0ne reason I will return is they have a smoking section one of only two restaurants I know off that u can still smoke. All you non smokers come in and enjoy the second hand smoke for free we pay good money for. There is a God

Cattleman's is a staple in the Amarillo area. Food is always good with generous servings. One point to be aware of. They still allow SMOKING. It was extremely dense when we were there. I only have a problem because of personal health issues. If you want to eat and smoke, this is the place for you.

This place is like a fine wine. Loved it many moons ago and still the best breakfast and greatest coffee now. Love the fact you can actually sit down eat a meal, have a cigerette afterwards,drink your coffee and visit with some very friendly folks.!! 10stars here

Went to eat lunch at chicken fried steak it was really good we'll go back and get another one looking forward to it

Best breakfast in town! The biscuits are huge and very good.

The beer was ice cold the food was freshly made and the bartenders and the waitresses were very nice the cook was very nice and asked me how was my dinner and I told him it was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had in my life which was true I recommend you go for a good chicken fried steak

Mixed feelings about this place. Good food, but the place is tired and dated. You cant call in a order...you have to come in and order an sit around and wait for it. A bit pricey if you ask me....and you are...haha ....you would be better off going to the stockyards.
