Belmar Bakery

Just moved here a few months ago. Have gone twice and both times were not good. Way over priced for weird flavors and dry. Ive ran a bakery, been a pastry chef and cake decorator, so I love to try new bakeries. Was sorely disappointed.
I have never had such a dry cupcake. Dry cookies with little flavor. Eclair was just gross. Tasted like lemon with chocolate donut frosting and fake whip cream. For over 4$. I dont care how big it is if it doesnt taste good theres no point. Waaay overpriced for what I got.

We used Belmar Bakery for my daughter's wedding cake. We couldn't make a decision on what flavor, style, and size of cake that we wanted. We procrastinated so long that we were running out of time before the wedding. They were able to help us on short notice and so nice and helpful in making the decisions to best serve our needs. The cake was beautiful and so good! We also used them a little bit ago for cake and cupcakes for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They will be our go to bakery from now on!

I had a decent experience with their service. Scenario: I am currently in Ohio while my guy friend just recently relocated to Amarillo. Neither of us know much of anything of the area. Today happens to be his 30th birthday! I googled nearby bakeries that delivered near his job. Found this place decent reviews. So I trusted the reviews and that the website would do them justice. I had an ideal to have a small portion of lasagna (which was on the menu on the website) and cupcakes delivered to my friend since I am not in town to do this. Come to find out, lasagna is no longer served and the small portion is not an option either. I settled for just cupcakes and $10 delivery to go 10 minutes down the road. Not extremely reasonable for distance, but I understand paying for convenience. So after about 3 calls of my own indecisiveness I was able to settle my order only to find out my total including shipping had to be at least $25 to be delivered. The PROS TO THIS ALL, I talked to Mary. She seemed to play it by ear because every question I asked I was put on hold to have verified. She was a nice young lady. Not extremely personable as I was excited I was doing something special for my friend on 30th bday. She gave me what i asked for didnt offer many suggestions, since I'm unfamiliar with the company it self I wasn't sure what the best options were. She definitely lacked rapport but she was extremely pleasant. She didnt go the extra mile, but she did just enough. I am sure she will be more knowledgeable in time. My friend did receive his goodies at the appointed time I requested which was perfect. He enjoyed them all and he mentioned he would try you all again! Thank you for your services that were provided and making his day special although he wasn't able to try out the lasagna.

The staff was friendly but my lunch order was unimpressive. Smashed croissant sandwich that tastes a little funny and a tiny cookie. When my friend called to order with me, she was put on hold for 5 minutes so she didn't order. When I got there, I saw three people working and practically no one eating there.

The ruined my sons 5th birthday cake! It was expensive and the cake was awful in appearance very un even and not at all what we asked. They promised to do the cake like the picture we showed and did not deliver at all. Very disappointed. The lady was also EXTREMELY rude! Would never go again or recommend to anyone

I'm so disappointed. I ordered a black forest birthday cake and it was not fresh at all. I want my money back and I will never go there again

Picked up some iced Christmas cookies and assorted cookies, they looked so pretty — everyone said they were good. Such a nice selection of baked goods, beautifully displayed and the staff very attentive.

Best Cinnamon roll ever! Trust, - I'm chunky I've eaten alot of mediocre Cinnamon rolls. This thing is addictive!

Absolutely love this place and they have best scones in this world! The food is just good, good, good. The people are warm and friendly and as authentic as the food and atmosphere!
