Old Gringo Coffee and Cocktails Bar and Grill

Went there on my Harley got there around 12 midnight kitchen was closed. I was very hungry. They went and made me some tacos after-hours. Very appreciated and I highly recommend this place. Also you can park your Motorcycle in the garage.

This place was really good the nachos were insane we filled up on them before the meal because they were so huge! And the drink I got was amazing I think Texas honey or something like that never had anything like that and it was so interesting and sweet so good.

I do a lot of traveling, and everywhere I go I try to stay in small towns and eat at local places instead of chains. This was one of the only 2 such places open on a Sunday night, so I gave it a try. The food and cocktails were delicious, the atmosphere wonderful, the live music was just the right volume and style to give that winding down vibe after a long day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, checking in on me and updating me on my food multiple times even though I didn't feel it took very long. Overall, a wonderful place to stop at if you are in the Big Bend area. 10/10! I will be back the next time I'm in this direction!

The food was ok but it took 30 minutes after ordering to get our food. Staff was nice but the kitchen is super slow.
Review edit: while I sympathize with your issues, that is not to be put on the customer. You have attempted to shame a customer, you have me confused with another customer by the way, but you have simply demonstrated my point. Had the wait staff expressed that you were struggling to get orders completed in a timely manner, we would have been prepared for the wait and/or gone back to Guzzy Up where we had eaten previously and had great service in a timely manner despite the challenges you noted. Good luck but maybe take heed of constructive criticism in the future, instead of trying to be ugly to customers.

Worst service we have ever experienced.been here bout 2 hrs and they managed to get one plate out for us. They don't look short handed but even if they were not an excuse for bad service. Slow service maybe. The enchiladas I ordered were litterly corn tortillas withs cheese and meat sauce on top no exaggerating. But hey beans were good. What a joke.

Stopped at this cute spot during our road trip to Big Ben. It did not disappoint great food quirky live music! At first it took a while to get a waitress but they politely let us know they would get to us and they did everything was correct and brought to the time with a smile. Again reeeeeallly great food

We arrived on a Monday night before 7:30 p.m. The sign says to seat yourself. Unfortunately many tables had not been cleaned from the previous patrons. We chose a table by the window. It was extremely obvious that there were not enough wait staff on duty. We ordered drinks, one water and two jalapeno margaritas. The water arrived within a decent amount of time. The margaritas however, well let's say they were very slow and it was unfortunately obvious the bartender did not have all the appropriate ingredients for the margarita. I cannot recommend the drink. We caught another employee who was delivering food to the table next to us and asked for our table to be cleared from the previous patrons. Our order was taken and to our dismay multiple patrons arriving after us received their food. Our order was delivered in just over an hour. YES, over and hour. I will compliment the food, but unless service is addressed by the owners, return patrons will.only shrink in number. There was apology from waiter (male) for the extreme delay, but there was no offering free dessert or anything else for such a delay.

i have never had such a good server in my life until i came to y’all. i believe her name was lexi. she was sweet, respectful, and very enjoyable to have. she had such a positive energy radiate from her. you can really tell she loves her job and takes us customers seriously. everything was amazing from your help to your food. i definitely give y’all 100/5 🤩

The worst plate of nachos I’ve ever eaten. How do you screw up nachos? Soak them in cheese sauce with some nasty avocado squirts then cover them with black beans and corn. I left the majority on the plate. Disgusting. Don’t bother with this place even if it’s the only place open Sunday evening.
