What a cozy spot for brunch or lunch. Everything is made from scratch and so delicious! The menu has good variety (especially for desserts) and different specials like the pumpkin bread pudding keep the menu interesting. The cheese burger handpie and shepherds pie handpie I tried were sooo good!! The flaky crust is everything. Service is great, Chef Caitlin is the best, and I love the atmosphere overlooking the shop beneath. Caitie Pies really helps breathe new life into downtown Abilene. They are taking pie orders for the holidays or you can get a catering order. Definitely go support this local spot!

This place is such a hidden gem!! I tried the chicken pot hand-pie and it was amazing! The pastry was flakey and fresh and the filling tasted like the BEST homemade chicken pot pie. I was really surprised by just how good it was! The cafe is located inside of the little tourist shop, it was a little confusing to find but I’m so glad I did!

Stopped at under one roof and saw the new pie place and had to try it. They serve both savory and sweet and although we didn't get savory they smelled delicious and the sweet was absolutely spectacularly phenomenal. The crust was perfect and we got coconut and the peanut butter piees and OMG heaven on earth. For all the folks missing granny's homemade pie they've got them here probably better. And coffee lovers they serve a perfect cup of coffee as well. You gotta come try em out.

Absolutely delicious! Everything I have tried has been so good. I love the variety of food she offers and the price range is really accommodating. So great to have her downtown!

I get something different every time I go there, and I connot stress how great every one of them have been. The chicken pot pie handpie is basically an instant classic, and if you want something sweet, every option is phenomenal.
