The Artistic Bean

When traveling (or anytime really) I enjoy finding small little coffee shops . Visited yesterday. Super cute shop, staff was great. Their mission is great. And their coffee was also great. Would highly recommend!!

My wife and I always stop in to get a drink before we go into Cades Cove...We haven't had a bad drink yet. My personal recommendation would be the Mountain Man Mocha which is just so rich and creamy good while my wife loves the hot chocolate. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to lend a helpful suggestion if you're undecided. This place is definitely a must visit if you're a coffee (or tea/cocoa) lover and traveling through Townsend, TN.

Our favorite coffee shop in the Smokies. We were in town for two weeks but only found them the last three days. Went there all three days. Good coffee and great service. They roast their beans on site. A bag of their roasted beans was the perfect souvenir for our trip. Will be returning next year when we're in the area again.

The Artistic Bean is the complete package with great coffee, staff, and atmosphere. I stopped to grab a cup of coffee on our way back to Florida and was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in a sleepy town just outside the park. My kids and I enjoyed watching them roasting coffee in the back. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Brought a pound back to FL to enjoy. Just wish I had stopped sooner during our stay in Townsend!

Excellent locally roasted (on-site) coffee shop. Gems like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find in the land of Starbucks domination. If I could clone this store and transplant it all.over the nation they'd shut Starbucks down. This is not a place that you should run into expecting a quick grab. Its a place to come in, sit down and relax with your significant other.

Must visit if you're in the area.

On vacation and was looking for a coffee shop around local trails. This one is not too far from cades cove. The interior is very well laid out, and you can tell the owners put a lot of effort into creating a great atmosphere. I ordered a coffee and my girlfriend got a latte, both of which were excellent! Give this place a try if you're looking for a good local cafe.

This place is warm and inviting, both the atmosphere and the staff. It smells AMAZING inside. I was able to sit at a community table and do some studying while enjoying a staff recommended drink. The coffee was delicious, the staff was friendly, and it was a lovely place to spend a gloomy rainy afternoon.

This coffee shop has world class espresso and coffee. It just doesn't get any better, and I know what I'm talking about I've owned a coffee roaster and coffee shop for 10 years in another state. It was a pleasant surprise to find this place when I visited Townsend, and would recommend it to anyone who values good coffee

We were camping in Cades Cove in the national park and I needed to go down into Townsend to get cell service or wifi to do a wee bit of work. Was happy to find this little coffee shop. Wifi was good, my big latte was delicious -- better than Starbucks in every way.

Love this coffee shop. We go a couple times whenever we are in Townsend. The coffee is good and the staff are great. It's a cute little place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee. And you can't beat the location to!
