Just in town for a little getaway since we had the day off for Veterans Day. The coffee was tasty, the decor beautiful, but a little too much for the space. The barista was not quite friendly enough and a little overwhelming with her coffee information. A bit overpriced, 2 small lattes $11.

This is a really nice little coffee shop that is always quiet, provides great service and very good coffee/drinks!

One year update: still fabulous service, quality coffee, perfect atmosphere! They occasionally have live music on top of all that. One of our favorite spots in the area.

The best banana nut muffin and an amazing mocha frappe. Was pleasantly surprised and the lady was really nice. Loved the atmosphere. I wish the used book section was larger and more diverse. That would make it perfect. I know I could write a book in there if I were a local or if there was one near me.

Side note: the laundromat next door has gone commercial (aka not many machines for individuals) so I hope their lack of business doesn't affect this business.

By far the best coffee I've ever had! Me and my wife loved the place. #1 priority any time we're near this area. Best ambiance, talented staff. One SHOULD NOT miss this place.

Wow, this place is amazing! Visiting Gatlinburg and all of the coffee shops around have not been very good. Glad I drove a little far to check this place out because they might have the best espresso that I have ever tried! If you're a coffee and/or espresso lover for the taste of it, you will NOT be disappointed. I will definitely be ordering from them online!

When you approach The Artistic Bean your nose will start to twitch with a mildly acrid smell and you’ll try to place it. It’s the smell of coffee beans being freshly roasted and it is glorious. The roasters are in the back of the shop and they’re completely open to customer viewing. Grab a mug and go sit at the bar and watch as tomorrow’s coffee is roasted right before your eyes. The aesthetic is very strong back there, which is a nice bonus.

Good for both purists (yes they do pour overs) and those who like an adventurous espresso-based drink (they have lots of unique creations). Another nice feature is the antique furnishings and copious amounts of high-end art magazines scattered around the store. There’s fast WiFi and friendly baristas. Well worth a drive through the park.
