The Artistic Bean

I loved the atmosphere. It was relaxed and comfortable. It was so cool that they were roasting coffee beans while we were drinking ours and you could hear the beans reach the "first crack". My latte was good, not great in my opinion. For me it was just a personal taste. There wasn't anything wrong with it, I just prefer a darker roast for an espresso drink. I'd definitely go back and try something different next time.

Great location and excellent atmosphere. Good selection of their own roasted coffee at a very reasonable price. I bought a bag and it is quite good. Only beef is that they didn't have any brewed decaf available, which seems like it should be a staple for a coffee shop. Can't wait to return.

My hubby and I loved this place. We visited a few times while vacationing in the smokies. My husband is a former barista and he said they have some of the best coffee he's tasted. We were able to buy a pound of coffee that was roasted just a day before! The service was top notch and friendly, and there was a nice patio area where we could sit with our dog. The interior was also very cool. Love it and will be back!

Great coffee, friendly staff, ummm good pastry. WiFi a bit slow

This coffee shop has a nice atmosphere and great coffee. They sell a few baked items including gluten free items on occasion. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even have ice water near the coffee dispensers. I like to cool my coffee by not filling it quite full and adding a little ice water.

Starbucks used to be my favorite until I had my first coffee from Artistic Bean. It's soooo much better. Strong, flavorful, smooth and worth the wait! The staff is always friendly, helpful and patient. I love the atmosphere of this local coffee shop. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here every morning for almost 4 years. The staff is always warm and inviting. My drinks are always consistently wonderful. They have become like family. The roasting is phenomenal and I can’t brag enough about the extra steps they take to fulfill my special drink requests. They give back to our community through chairitable donations. They are a mission first and small business second always keeping our little town as a top priority. Thank Artistic Bean for all that you do for Townsend!

Love this coffee shop! Amazing pastries and the white mocha has Starbucks beat! I work for Starbucks and this place take a lot of pride in their art of coffee. I always look forward to visiting every time I’m in the area. Keep doing what y’all do!
